My 2 1/2 year old loves to play cards but is unable to hold more than a few cards in her hand. I love that these holders allow her to play games with more cards. My favorite part is that they stand up on the table so she doesn't have to hold the holder when she puts the cards in.
The standing feature makes these triangle holders preferable over round ones in my opinion.

These could have been soooooo much better if only there was an easy way to hold them. As it is, they are best used if you set up your cards and then just stand it up. The other problem is that they don't have a tight enough grip to truly hold your cards without them falling out, so you have to hold it anyway. It could have been great with just a tweak of a spring or a molding of plastic, instead, it is just usable.

We got these for our 3 kids for Christmas. They're 5,4 and 2 years old. They've really enjoyed being able to "hold their cards up" when we play games. I wouldn't recommend the round ones. They don't stand on their own, like these do.

I thought these would be great for our game nights. They seemed like they might help make it easier to keep the cards hidden from your nosey neighbor/competitor. The only downside would be that they can accidentally release all of your cards instead of just one. It might take some getting used to. I think this would be beneficial for people who are prone to hand cramps.

bought these for the grandkids as they have trouble holding a lot of cards.. but I found that I like them to and often use them myself. You can really spread out a lot of cards.. and they stand up so you are not holding onto the holder unless you want to.. good buy!

These are good for little hands. My 6 year old did have trouble pulling a card out without making the others fall out also, but he seems to be getting better at it. It just takes a little practice to get them in and out of the holder easily, but allows kids to see all their cards.

I purchase these for my granddaughters and my youngest daughter, the age range is between eight years old and three years old. We use these mostly for playing Go Fish, and they work great for their small hands. I love that they are able to fan the cards out, and be able to see all the cards in their hands, before I purchased these for them, they would keep their cards face down on the table in front of them, and go through them one at a time to see if they had the card, made the game last a lot longer than it does now, they usually lost interest. Another thing I live about these, is that they came with the four different colors, everyone chooses their color, and that is theirs, no claiming someone else's if they "misplace" theirs. The onl thing to be careful about, is that if you pull them apart, there is a little spring, kind of like the one in a pen, that will pop out, but these are simple and easy to put back together if they do get pulled apart, I only mentioned this, because on of the grandchildren pulled theirs apart, and I panicked over the small spring going MIA, there is a smaller one year old that is always underfoot. These are a great thing to have for card games with the little ones, and I wholeheartedly recommend these.
