I had some trouble figuring out what size to order for this coat after reading the reviews. I ordered a large and in the US I am a small. I'm 5'6 in the lower 120's and petite. Small bust. I'm glad I ordered a large because if I would have gone any smaller the sleeves would be tooo short. It fits great other than sleeves being a tad short- but it's not very noticeable. I'm the type of person who doesn't go outside in the cold to run around and do aerobic activities. The only activity I do outside in the new england cold is running to the car. Or to the house from the car. And unless I did that with my arms raised up high like a weirdo no one would question the sleeves. I love the material. Anything that doesn't make my hair a static mess is great. The furry lining looks good. If you have unusually long arms or very broad shoulders I would stay away from this coat. Remember that chinese women are small and if you aren't build small it might not be a good choice especially because you can't try it on before you buy. It came a little over a week early.. but that's still a long wait for a coat that doesn't fit. Luckily mine does. PHEW. Good luck I hope this helps someone out a little.

Let's start with the sizing. I buy a lot of overseas clothing and am more familiar with my sizing then perhaps the average person. I am 5'5 and 130lbs. I ordered a large. The sleeves fit perfectly in length. The middle torso area was still too big though. Not so much that it looks awkward though once cinched by the belt...however, the belt that came with it was HUGE and I had to swap it with a different belt I already had laying around the house. That, or I could make my own belt holes I guess. The inner lining is nice though. I wore it for the first time in the windy rain and it kept me very warm. There is actually an inner liner (more like a full second coat inside actually) that can be completely unzipped and washed separately, worn separately if you wish. It is a long length jacket which i loved and although the sizing is still just a bit off, i will be keeping this coat. It's benefits outweigh the negative. The zippers all work fine and none of the stitching has come undone. Was also delivered before expected date.

First of all, it's not even the color I ordered! I ordered khaki, and i received black. This is supposed to be a Christmas gift for my Mom. I'm so weary about giving it to her. There's not enough holes in the belt buckle to fully pull it around the waist! What is my Mom supposed to do, let it just HANG loose?? The inside faux fur is nice, the outside is NOT what I expected though..It looks so different from the picture. I am dissatisfied and going to see what I can do with it. Also, my Mom is small and petite, so I ordered a size up (medium) to give her some room in the coat, but it still seems too small. I'm really upset. I don't know what to do. Whether I should try to get a refund on this and quickly buy her something else, or just give this to her and hope for the best...

Of course it's not a high quality coat-it's $40.00! But it's really cute and while the actually outercoat alone isn't very warm-nylon like trench with slightly padded arms the Long sleeve removable faux fur liner is soft and super warm-looks very good as well. Better to buy for yourself then give as a gift because this coat has some minor production screw ups. I'm guessing that probably prevented it from being bought retail and now they need to get rid of this inventory. For example, although they line up the liner fur hood doesn't attach to the coat's outer shell hood because the fur hood has a small plastic button while the coat's hood is a metal snap-the hoods fold into each other so it's no biggie. Also, While the placement of the belt is flattering(slightly higher waist) the buckle doesn't stay straight so it looks cheap-either slid the buckle where it's not noticeable-like behind your arm or use another belt-or don't wear a belt-as it looks good unbelted. The faux fur liner is the best thing about this coat-it looks good-it's fairly plush-not scratchy like all those faux trim lined hoodies out there and most importantly it's very warm-It's not bulky either-it turned my favorite wax coated jacket into a winter weather coat. The coat arrived 10 days after I ordered it. Two sizes up did the trick-I'm 5'5, 115lbs. usually buy a small for outerwear and I like to have a lil room for sweaters and the Large fits great-sleeves and all.

The fur is not as luscious looking as in the picture, it is cheaper quality than the picture. Thats not to say that the fur is cheap looking because it isn't necessarily cheap looking either. It doesn't keep you that warm if it is very very cold out, so in the frigid winters in Chicago, I first go for my down coat that keeps me SO warm. HOWEVER, in the mild winter this year I found myself reaching for this coat nearly every day and it works and is cute! It just doesn't look as cute as in the picture, it is a little boxier looking in real life.

For reference I have a size 2 peacoat from Victoria's Secret and an XS from Gap. I measured the shoulder width of those coats which aligned with a large of this coat so that's what I ordered and it fit PERFECTLY! Its really cute and I like that the fur unzips so you can wash the exterior layer.
