Use in horizontal configuration on my motorcycle for an HTC One M7. Phone gets pretty warm when charging & using GPS so I leave the top 1/3 unzipped, unless it's raining. The foam inserts work like an insulator rather than heatsink to dissipate heat. Cut 2 one inch strips from thicker foam and glued to the outer edges of the pouch, creating a "pocket" of air to help keep my phone cool. When completely zipped up, it keeps phone dry in the rain.

I bought this to hold my Iphone on my 2013 Honda Shadow. It arrived quick and easy to use. I read reviews about how it comes undone but I had no problems. Make sure you hear that click when you attach the case to the mount, it takes some effort. It looks like it should be pretty water tight but since we dont get much rain around here its not a big deal to me. I am able to control the screen pretty easy, but cant hit the top power button very well. For the price i am happy with it so far!

I had a different brand of phone case previously, and the plastic peice that the strap to hold it on my handle bars broke within 6 months, so I ordered this one. Took it out for the first time, and this one is much better for a lot less. It attached securely to the handle bar of my motorcycle so I can use my speedometer app to see how fast I'm going. The clear plastic cover is touch screen compatible, and functions ok. You have to press a little harder to get the touch screen on your phone to work, but it does ok. It fits my IPhone 6 in an Otterbox Commuter case, but is a pretty tight fit, so you probably wouldn't be able to fit it if you have an Otterbox Defender or similar case. Overall good quality for a small price.

The zippered case does not securely fit the mount. It just slides on to small tabs. It fits so loosely that a slight bump will make it come off. Not to mention it will be so wobbly it will be impossible to view while riding. I bought this as a birthday present and by the time he was ready to use it I figured it was too late to return it so I just threw it in the trash. It is worthless.

Works great, I have an iPhone 4 and it has room inside for my charger cord to be plugged in & zipped closed or even my FM transmitter gadget. It's also deep enough for you to keep your thick Otterbox style phone case on. Also it's hard to see in the photo but there is a small lanyard ring sewn on the back between the bracket and the case so you can tether it to your bike with a lanyard for added peace of mind in case something should happen and it comes loose from your bike. If you wear motorcycle gloves you'll need a pair that has the ability to operate your phones touch screen. If your personal phone case has a recessed beveled edge around the screen it makes it a bit difficult to press the clear vinyl window down and touch your phone's screen.
The size of handlebar that this will fit is a bit small. I made a crossbar out of standard electrical conduit pipe and I needed to add some extra rubber shims to make the bracket fit tight. A drop of thread lock on the attaching screw will prevent it from vibrating loose while you ride but still be easy to unscrew by hand. I hope this is helpful!

I use mine with an M7 on an 02 VT1100 shadow saber (motorcycle). First off, the seller was Awesome, shipped it out the same day, was exactly as advertised. Other reviews make mention that it's not ment to fit on a bike, out of the box. In my case, it fit perfectly. I will admit that it does SEEM to be a bit low end, and I was concerned that I would break it during installation. However it stood up to my ham fisted attempt(S) to get it "just right"

Although mounting bracket is all plastic, there are "joints" which allow it to pivot in many different directions AND angles, which is key so that it doesn't block dials, gauges or blinky lights. Mine came with two different thickness inner foam "plates" that act as a cushion for the phone. I tried both, but preferred the thinner one as I don't need to muck around with touch screen while driving, though I think if you arn't using thick gloves, touch should work.

I will say that it is water"resistant" out of the box, and depending on temp variations, you may notice a build up of condensation on the inside. I rode in heavy rain, and at the end the phone was "moist", not wet, not dry.could have been better, but certainly could have been worse. I have since applied some water repellent to the edges around the zipper, and seems to be working.

The only reason I gave 4 is because the tightening widget go stripped when I was moving it around on the bars. 95% my fault, and it still functions fine, however it is now only able to stay in one position. For me it's fine, but if you like to mess with stuff be careful not to over tighten it. And that it's not 100% water tight, but nothing with a zipper is.Read more ›

I bought this so I could see my phone while riding my bike and in case I wanted to use the phone as a GPS. My Samsung Galaxy S3 fits perfectly in this case. Although when the charger is connected the micro usb plug sticks out the end of the case. I have to put the zippers on either side of the plug, but no big deal really. One thing about this case is the way it snaps to the mount. You really have to slide it very hard in the plastic tabs to hear the "click" that means it is secured. Almost too hard, to where I thought I might break it. But once it snaps in it is VERY secure. I have been very careful with the zippers because they don't seem to durable, but time will tell. I just make sure I am very deliberate and careful when zipping or unzipping the case.
