Last summer we had Bed Bugs!!! We got rid of them after months of fighting, spraying, and tossing out sheets and pillows:((

I wish this problem was more TALKED ABOUT !!! I really recommend to EVERYONE --->>>> buy mattress cover/pillow cover/box spring cover and have some sprays handy, also wash your sheets more often (1-2 weeks) and do not clutter your bed to make it impossible to check for BB!

Those pillow cases are easy to put on I'm gonna actually get some more as I'm getting some more pillows and we put covers for every one!! Also make sure you won't be taking them off EVER!!! (till you ready to put new ones or toss those-I read some of those are washable, BUT IF you happen to have BB taking it off WILL improve chances for them to get inside your pillow!!!

What I suggest is;

*decide if you are keeping all your mattress/pillows (we kept our mattress - we checked It multiple times, but just to be sure we got mattress cover-MAKE SURE ITS preventing BB as some covers are only good for Dust mites which is not the same!! So we got cover that fit's our mattress and boxspring together...if you can get 2 separate ones it's better!!! But our box spring is only 1-2 inch and if I'd get any cover it'd be hanging a lot:( so I have box spring with mattress together, it makes it hard to put sheets on, but works, the cover comes with plastic ties so the zipper won't come undone. We also purchased NEW mattress for our daughter as she outgrew her small bed, and we made sure we got the mattress cover before we set up the bed!!!Read more ›

We bought these because like so many people these days, we have been visited by dreaded bedbugs. The idea is to keep any bedbugs on the mattress in the mattress and kill everything outside of the mattress.

This tore in several small areas immediately, and now our son's bed is reinfested with bedbugs after a thorough treatment.

I would not recommend this product.

I'm pretty anal about how clean my bedding is. My pillows in particular are really important to me - I won't use one without a protector. These protectors are great. They're not...crunchy lol.. like some other ones I've tried. I can't really tell they're there under my pillow case. They've done a great job so far of keeping my fairly pricey pillow safe. And while they also seem to protect against liquids, they're not made of that plasticy poncho material that rips super easily and is FORBIDDEN by my washing machine. Yep- There's a big sticker on my machine that says I can't wash water proof stuff. But this material is nice and sturdy and feels ok for my washer...my machine's been ok so far.. And like I said, I'm pretty anal about the cleanliness of my bedding, so these have already been washed several times and will continue to be washed pretty frequently (life of a germaphobe lol), and if that happens to wear them out, I'm ok with that. The price is good, so I'll just buy more :)

What a piece of s***!! I didn't use protector right away because I already had one on my mattress. I finally decided to use this item today and what a hot mess. Not only did it rip but the zipper came off. Unfortunately, I am going to have to leave this crap on until I get a new one but there is nothing deluxe about the Linen Collection Mattress Protector.

I'm sure it is too late to get a refund and I don't usually complain (I just take disappointment in stride) but I just to express my frustration and disgust with this product!
