Never had a razor that pulled as much as this one does. Admittedly, I'm presently not trying to impress anyone professionally or personally, so I usually go a day, or sometimes 2, between shaves. But other electric razors I've used had no trouble with that plan. This one feels like it's pulling out almost as many as it cuts. I think it's because the floating heads don't float - they pivot, and I suspect it's something in the pivot design that grabs, but hey, whatever...shaving in constant fear of the next snag is no way to go through life. I'm going to move sideways to a Norelco rotary, or a Remington Microsreen, both of which I have owned in the past and never tore a single whisker out of my face.

After disposing four perfectly good re-chargeable ones because the batteries couldn't be changed, I got the pure plug-in type. Being retired, I don't have to shave on the way to work anymore, and I don't mind standing in front of bathroom mirror to shave. Nice, and less expensive, too!

Let me say this first off. I have a light beard and I didn't buy this at amazon. It gets a close save for me and is light weight. The plastic doesn't seem cheap to me. It is probably lighter because I don't think it has a battery in it since it is corded. The down side is the cord is short but doable. If you have a thick beard this might not work well for you. I paid a little over 21 dollars after tax, so if you can get it around that price or cheaper on amazon then it seems a good deal.

Medicore shave. Get's the job done. Every Remington I've ever owned (this style or screen type) has been just so-so. The hinged lid takes some getting use to. you end up getting stuff on your fingers trying to empty it. I prefer a top that comes completely off so I can bang it on the side of the sink or trash can.

I like this razor, this is my first electric. Shave is not as close of course, but not bad. I paid $21 which I thought was good. I was surprised to see there was no battery but shave in the bathroom anyway, next to a plug. Seems to be staying sharp after about 3 months, I expect the blades to be needing replacement at some time soon. (but I don't know what the life is of the blades) I found the blades were listing as high as the entire razor. Did find some at $14.99. I needed to stop shaving with a regular razor due to a rash on my face, and cutting myself to much. It seems to be what I need now.

I wanted to get an electric shaver as I wanted to avoid the mess of disposable razors with the foam and all. I purchased mine on an online auction site for $10.50 and thought I had checked the Amazon ratings before I bid on it.

This is a cheap knockoff off a Norelco. First off there is a "cheap" feel to this razor as in light weight; Secondly, the motor does not seem to be as powerful as a Norelco; and third, the heads do not "float" they just pivot in one direction towards the center of the shaver head.

The closeness of the shave is good, not great but good. This would be a great shaver for a young teenager just developing facial hair and you don't want to spring for the more expensive Norelco.

My husband wanted a corded shaver that didn't die when the battery expired. It was very inexpensive and you get what you pay for is really true with this product. Since it's first cleaning it sounds like it is falling apart every time you turn it on. It is very light weight plastic and all the parts are fragile. I doubt the shave will last 6 months. I won't buy another.
