My wife likes movies with a positive message. I saw the cover of this one and was intrigued by the girl with the tattooed face. So I bought it and we watched it on a snowy Saturday night. I'm in the video business and work as a cameraman so I'm pretty critical of movies from a technical standpoint. But it was well-written, great plot, the actors were very believable and the cinematography was terrific. I've seen a number of independent movies and with smaller budgets you never know what you're going to get. But this one was a very pleasant surprise. My wife cried at different points so I guess that would be the best compliment I could give it. It also has a twist that I wasn't expecting. Hiding Victoria was a really entertaining movie with a message and we've watched it more than once.

The film grabs you from the beginning and keeps you involved. The character development is brilliant and the relationships in the filmed are explored from a variety of emotional angles. The film's score is outstanding and the music provides a solid background as the emotions ebb and flow. Visually, the film is well thought out and engaging. You want to keep watching this gem of a movie for its unexpected twists and turns as the bonds of familiarity help to strengthen the fragile main characters. Hiding Victoria is a winner and highly recommended!

I was not aware of Dan & Deb Chinander's abilities in film-making. I was extremely impressed with the final product.

The story line was strong, and held you right to the end. The actors/actresses were all genuinely believable. There was a level of professionalism among all those who were in the film, to make this a good quality film.

The message of the movie came through "loud and clear." I would recommend this movie to others, and would hope it could go on the big screen soon.

GREAT JOB! I can't wait to see more of your work.

Subjects that should be looked at in life. An understanding Christian mother figure with a past of her own helps a young defiant and oppositional young woman get past some events that changed her life. The young woman needed to understand that she was not at fault for thee events. As hard as the events are she needs to deal with them and put them behind her if she is to blossom into the potentially good person that God has created. Beautifully done. You know it is good because it is sometimes painful for the viewer to stay with the movie. Definite 4 star.

Not only does this movie remind us to look past the mask of pain people wear, it leaves the viewer invested in the characters. When the word forgiveness came into the dialogue I was dreading sermonesque moments that would surely be employed. Once the Bible entered, I resolved myself to some sort of religious promotion. I am so happy to say that no sermons or Bible thumping emerged. The message of forgiveness came across in a way that won't further wound the religiously battered.

I was surprised that I enjoyed this movie as much as I did. There are many different ways to hide, from ourselves or from others. It may be in a physical, mental, or emotional way. This movie is definitely a "feel good" movie. I would recommend it to others.

Hiding Victoria with Anita Gillette -- This movie was ok. We did watch it all the way through and it most certainly carries the message that forgiveness is the way to go, for your own healing from the hurt and, maybe, for the offender. I'd rate the movie's production a C-, but keep in mind that we are used to multi-million dollar budgets and blockbusters as the mainstream expectation. If you can get this on Amazon Prime for free, it's worth watching when you have a couple of hours to chill.

A movie about second chances and a lesson in empathy for those who were affected by injustices in their past.
