Very nice rack. I mounted this on a 29'' bike with no problem. Had 2 inches of clearance from the top of the tire to the bottom side of the rack. Would like to note that instead of mounting the brackets to the frame under the seat with the provided bolts, I used zip ties. It is very secure and you have more options as to where you can attach those brackets included. Also, if you need to remove it or adjust you just cut the zip ties and remount, simple. (Will upload pictures)

**Only problem I have with this rack is that if your bike falls over you risk a good chance of one of the mounting bolts snapping or the entire rack bending. I guess with the light weight of the rack limits is durability.

I purchased 3 of these. They're about the right size for my 16 inch frame bikes. The bike wheels are all 26 inch. They are sturdy. Refer to photos for more details.

This is the only high-quality rear bike rack that I was able to find that fits larger wheeled bikes. It fits my 27" tires on my hybrid Trek bike. Utilizing the "Sunlite Bicycle Monostay Adapter" which I also purchased through Amazon, I was able to actually use a rear rack as I do not have the pre-drilled holes to attach the two "prongs" to. I included pictures that show how the rack looks on my hybrid bike. I definitely recommend this rack. Good quality. The install took me awhile, but it wasn't difficult, just required me to use my brain a little.

Install was easy on a Jamis Hudson. The instructions are a bit cryptic. Start by attaching the rack to the threaded holes just above the rear axle, then attach the steel rails to the under rack. Finish by attaching to the seat stays. Extra bolts are included. 4mm allen key is all you need.

As I always do, I did a LOT of research before purchasing this rack and finally narrowed it down to this one and the Topeak Explorer. One of my biggest concerns was that it may not work on my rather small (15.5") frame, but, as you can see in the photos, it works perfectly! I also have center-pull cantilever brakes, but this didn't cause any problems at all for those. It was very straightforward to install, and came with all of the necessary hardware. I really like the hardware that it came with, especially because four of the bolts have heads that allow for easy twisting, which is nice during installation.

One of the biggest deciding factors for my choice of this rack over the Topeak was the little extension in the back part that ensures that the bag stays out of the wheel. I have carried several heavier items in here and never had any problem whatsoever. Definitely recommend this rack, especially if you're looking for one for a smaller bike, and I will update if anything changes.

I have not tried this with any of the Ibera bag systems (they're pretty pricey), but am using it with no problems at all with the Axiom Appalachian bags.

I got this rack because occasionally my pannier would scrape into the back of my rear wheel, or even get caught, twist off, and dump onto the pavement. This rack has wide bars that prevent slipping like that, and it's designed to fit way back on the bike, which both prevents that issue and also prevents hitting the pannier with your foot.
It was very easy to install this rack.

I am only giving it four stars because there is no hook at the bottom of the rack, which many panniers need. I also use the bottom hooks to latch bungie cords over the rack. I can use the frame for the left side, but not the derailleur side for fear of interfering with the gears. I had a piece of scrap that I could screw in and that worked, but I'd rather have an elegant simple attachment built into the rack.

I bought this for my Diamondback Insight 2. Although the braze-on eyelets are too close to the brake on this bike, the adjustable rods on this rack could be bent slightly to pass over the brake without interfering, allowing a nice installation.

I like the idea of including a fender-like cover to keep my back dry. The rack also feels very light. All-around a great purchase.

I bought this rack for my 2013 Specialized Rockhopper 29er. I chose this one because of the adjustable feature which makes this rack compatable for 29" wheels. I also liked the PakRak feature and had planned on buying an Ibera trunk bag. The package arrived quickly and the rack seems to be very well made. However, nowhere in the Amazon description does it state that this rack is not made for bicycles with disc brakes. After re-engineering (widening by brute force because I was so pissed off) the rack, I finally got it to fit on the dropouts - right over the allen bolts for the disc brake caliper - not too happy about that. The two steel straps that extend from the rack to the seat stay are a smidge too short for a 29er. The straps pull the rack too far forward and the rack front is about 3 1/2 " under my saddle and pitches up from front to back. This prohibits the use of my under-saddle pouch AND the use of any PakRak system bag offered by Ibera
