Good Shoe, not much support

If you are looking for a shoe that is very minimal and does not give much support or warmth, this is a good shoe. I recently purchased a pair of Keen Toyah's for work which I much prefer over these when wearing 9+ hours. They are very cute and comfortable to slip on for a shorter amount of time though and I would consider ordering them again. They just are not very good when wearing for very long periods of time.

I landed upon this particular style in hopes that it would be a good blend of fashion and function

I purchased these shoes for a trip to Europe after I received several glowing reviews for Keen brand. I landed upon this particular style in hopes that it would be a good blend of fashion and function. After checking reviews for this particular style on several sites and seeing mostly good comments I was sold.

The good: The shoes fit well as far as being true to size and seemed to be of good quality.
The bad: The shoes provided almost zero padding. Meaning my poor toes and heels could feel every bump, crack, and texture of the street below me. When breaking them in before leaving I was concerned about this issue, but wanted so badly for them to be the right shoe I ignored a big red flag which could not be ignored on the old cobblestone streets of Europe. I was miserable and disappointed.

I had very very high hopes for the shoes and very much wanted them to work. Friends who recommended Keen shoes did so with an enthusiasm of a child trying to sell Santa on an expensive toy. They were a significant cost investment from my end and I compared them side by side with several other options. That said, the shoes did not meet my expectations and in fact became so uncomfortable I was forced to invest in a different pair just two days into my trip.

I still think these could be a okay pair of walking shoes on a smooth surface for a short distance, but would not recommend them for anything outside of that.

Just like the originals

I'd been wearing this style of Keen for years, back when they only made it in leather. I liked them so much that I used to buy two or three pairs at a time, walking up fifteen miles a week in them. Then Keen changed the style and lined them with something terribly uncomfortable for a couple seasons.

These are very, very much like the originals on the inside and I'm so happy they made them like this again. They are comfortable with or without socks and they make my size 10.5 feet look dainty because of the minimal design. The strap over the foot holds it on well enough that I can run in them, if need be, but it's super comfortable as well. The inside is a very soft fabric and the toe box is wide enough to wiggle my toes in without being boxy and unattractive. They are almost as comfortable and supportive as sneakers, with a much cuter look that will go with casual skirts, dresses, and pants.

These are my favorite casual shoes - I purchased them in brown and black and I will probably be back for another two pairs next month... so I can have them on hand.

Comfortable & resilient

I love these shoes! I work in a library with concrete floors and am on my feet most of the shift. Many of my shoes don't provide enough cushion to protect my joints, but these do. Last weekend, we had an event outside after a heavy rain and I couldn't avoid stepping in big puddles. I was worried that my favorite shoes would be ruined. No need. As soon as they dried, they looked like new.

They look cute with skirts, capris and jeans, and are super comfortable. Before I ordered these, I read some reviews in which people complained that they didn't look black, they look like denim. I agree, and that's one of the reasons I like them. However, I would like to point out that they look fine with black pants.

Great shoes.

I really do love these shoes. They fit me a little larger than expected, but not enough for me to take the effort to return them. I've gotten a good number of compliments on them. They are quite comfortable and practical without being unattractive. The beet color is great, super cute. The only issue I really have with them is that I cannot wear then without socks, or else pretty quickly they will feel too hot and gross... So, I have to wear them with little sock liners.

New Favorite Shoe

I was headed to India for two months and needed a shoes that was comfortable, breathable, versatile, didn't contain any leather and still looked good.
I've been wearing them non stop for about two weeks and I could not be happier with these shoes.
I walk a minimum of three miles each day and am standing for much of the rest of it. I've not had any blisters, my feet haven't gotten sore and when my shoes do get wet (it rains often) they dry impressively quickly.

I did order a size up (I'm normally an 8.5 and I got a 9). I tried the 8.5 at first, they were fine testing them around the house, but the minute I wore them down to get them mail my toes started to hit the front and hurt. I got the 9 instead and they have been perfect.

Not for high arch feet :(

Very comfortable soft shoes, however, I had to return them. I have about 6 other keen shoes and I'm a big fan of Keen. After trying this Sienna pair on in the house for a few minutes, I noticed the top of my feet started hurting. Elastic bands across the top were too tight, or not stretch enough for my high arched feet. It didn't even take 10 min for me to decide sending them back. Sad! Very cute and super comfortable insole though! I will look for another Keen slip on type.
