The look, the sound, the structure are all good, but the instrument plays under pitch. I use mostly Yamaha 3-piece recorders and this one sounds bad with the others. It also is underpitched when I play with recordings. I won't be recommending it to my students. The recorder can be lengthened, but not shortened.
