I removed the soap dispenser on my sink, and this worked very well to plug the hole. I should have gotten a 2" model to completely cover the old marks made by the soap dispenser. (my fault) However, it worked flawlessly,and was simple to install. I live alone, so i set a 20lb dumbell on top of the plug to hold it in place while I screwed it tight underneath. That worked perfectly. It looks good and I am sure will last a long time......GT:)

Had gone down to the local hardware store to look for something like this to plug a hole that is in my sink. The local hardware store had a cheap bolt / nut on it that had broke after attempting to install. Due to the lack of variety at my local store, I had to look online and was able to come across this Item. Install was in seconds and with the wide plastic nut you were able to get this hand tight to prevent any leaks going under your sink. I would buy this again if needed.

This worked perfectly for the 1/2-1 inch sink hole I had on my steel sink where I previously installed a faucet for the reverse osmosis system. When I moved out of this house, I took the RO system along with me leaving behind the hole. I bought this product to close that faucet hole gap.

Although the hole was slightly bigger, the screw at the botton held it in place. There is a small washer under the sink hole head for a firm fit and seal so that no water gets in through the hole creating mess under the sink. This item is made up of plastic with chrome finish on the top. The plastic appeared to be light weight and excessive force could break it. Overall great price and good fit and gets the job done. Similar item at the HD was selling for almost $9.

Couldn't get chrome at the local big box store. This matches, works well, and was 1/4 of the price of the chain store too. The directions do state to use plumber's putty, which I seem to have to buy every time I need it b/c it always dries out... so if you don't have any, you might want to get some before this arrives.

These fit and look great. I replaced master bath faucets on two sinks so I needed to cover 4 holes total. I installed these within minutes and they covered the 1 1/2" hole perfectly. I put some plumber's putty under them (as recommended) to keep water from getting underneath them. They are made of plastic, but look like metal.

No problems so far and they look nice. Very quick and easy to install. The directions say to use some plumber's putty when installing and I did. That should pretty much guarantee they will be water tight.

Not as well made as some but served the purpose. Cover shifts if hole is not the same size as the shaft. Could have come with an insert that would prevent shifting. Would have paid more for this improvement.
