Style Name: Salt and Pepper Mill Set
They're good mills if you want a one-handed one. We have a set of Peugeot mills that I reach for more often just since they grind faster. But my wife likes these more, and I often use them also. They are compact, well-made, very solid-feeling, like it was made in a machine shop and not a factory. And they work well, especially if you just need a dash or two of salt or pepper or only have one free hand.

After a few years of use, one of them broke at the clear window, so I called Fletcher's Mill, who sold me a replacement window for $1 plus $2 shipping. The window is threaded in, not glued, so it was easy to replace. Very nice customer service rep that picked up right away when I called. In an age of disposable products, planned obsolescence, phone trees, and overseas customer support, it's nice to be able to order a replacement part, cheaply, from a human.

Works extremely well for salt or pepper so far, it wasn't until after I received it that I realized that there was a mill designed specifically for salt. I had already purchased one mill in store and liked it so much I decided to have the set for the table.

Great product but I was disappointed in the packaging. It was supposed to be a gift and the way it was packaged looked a little like it was a freebie with the purchase of a larger kitchen item. Nonetheless, they work great and came pre-filled with salt/pepper, which was a nice surprise.

These are some classy salt and pepper grinders. They look great on our table. These have a few drawbacks. First, the user does not have the ability to adjust how coarse the grind is. Also, you do not have the ability to adjust how much salt or pepper. You only get a pumps worth. All in all, these are great.

I first saw one of these things at my sister's and my first reaction was "I want this!". Looking around on Amazon, there are definitely cheaper ones than the Fletcher's, but when I got it, it's a nice, heavy duty salt mill that feels like it will last. It grinds the salt nice and fine and controlling the amount of salt is easier.

I received these as a gift after putting on our wedding registry. The salt and pepper mill are functional, easy to use, durable and greatly speed up the preparation process when seasoning meat to be cooked. The amount of salt and pepper these produce in a single push in my opinion is perfect.

The only possible con I could see someone having are that there are no grind adjustments.
