Worked good on certain fasteners on my Honda cars and on my Grizzly ATV. Worked best on the fasteners with the slot that cut in it on the outsides. Worked ok with the other fasteners without. Still beats a screwdriver. Like all Lisle products they are well made.

Ive seen some reviews on here i think for the wrong item. I purchased this because the underside of my civic hybrid has a load of push pin clamps that you have to remove to change the oil. A bit of a pain but its not all that hard. This tool saves my fingers from getting destroyed trying to pull these little pins out and makes the whole process alot easier. It also saves me, most of the time from breaking them and and trying to find the right sized push pins to fit my car.

Used these to do some work on my new Acura. They worked as advertised, making it easy to remove the pins that are used to hold bumper clips, etc on the current cars. Much easier than trying to use a screwdriver and regular pliers, and with these, I did not destroy any of the clips, so was able to re-use all of them.

These make pulling the Honda/Acura push pins sooo much easier and quicker. I'm sure they work on others too but I have only used them on the Honda/Acura cars so far.The Matco tool distributor wanted about the same price for these but I decided to go with Amazon's instead for no particular reason.

Very nice pliers! They are well constructed and work perfectly for removing push pin fasteners. So why four stars? When I buy a new tool (money permitting) I try to buy American made products to help support our local economy. However with that being said I'm also accustomed to getting a superior product with the extra investment and that is not the case with these pliers. Harbor Freight sells a pair that look visually identical to the Wilmar / Performance Tool versions and is of equal quality in every way to the Lisle product and for less than half the price. In my opinion they actually have a more comfortable handle design and have a far smoother action out the box. Again I don't in any way regret the purchase for the reasons I have stated. But for potential buyers who don't care anything about that and just want to purchase a quality tool to get the job done at the lowest price do yourself a favor and check out the Harbor Freight pair first...
