I have been through many cables as the silly micro USB connector is so frail !! I wish the engineers would come up with a more robust compact connection. My search was for a replacement cable that might last more than 6 months. This one looked good. The addition of the light makes it awesome.

The packaging is super nice. Very impressive.

Once out of the package I plugged it in and found the light not working consistently. Well after viewing the product info online a few more times it occured to me that the lit end works by touch. (Ooops! my mistake). With that in mind I have used it again and it seems to work perfectly. Touch the micro end and Shazam ! Light !

Very nice cable. Do not hesitate to purchase on of these.

I ordered 3 of these and the two that I have seen in use are both very inconsistent. What I mean by that is, that the light will stay on when the cable isn't being touched. The light doesn't always come on when it is touched. This performance defeats the purpose of having the light on it. It does work to charge, I haven't used it as a data cable.

Should have read the reviews :-(

It's a nice idea, and a copy of a cable I got from my wireless carrier, but the lights on these turn on randomly. Not cool in the middle of the night. I bought two, and they both do the same thing. I also noticed that when I used these, my phone's charge didn't last as long as usual. Didn't think that was even possible!

I saw a friend's micro USB with a LED at the end while riding in his car. I found it interesting, so I searched Amazon for a similar item and found this Naztech micro USB cable and ordered one. Once I got it, I tired it with my iPhone (in its Mophie Air case), my tablet, and other devices that used micro USB connection. They all charged without a problem unlike other cables I've bought. This Naztech cable is longer than the usual 3 feet which make it convenient while using devices in bed and not have to worry about reach. I liked it so much that I ordered 1 more for the car. Not sure what issues others may have had but it works well for me . Only drawback is the price a bit high but worth it.

I have a Verizon cell phone charger that lights up when you touch the connector, for my car. This one is supposed to do the same thing but, after a few minutes to a few hours use the light will stay on ALL THE TIME. Kinda frustrating. I tried different usb sources with the same result. My Verizon car charger light works flawlessly but, this cable is obviously having problems. I would have liked to get a replacement but, Amazon only offers refunds on this product.

I really liked this cable initially. Nice, long, cable that was not only great for the nightstand, but also extremely useful when traveling. The light is a nice feature to have when you need to plug it in before bed. That is BEFORE attempting to fall asleep, but AFTER you have already turned off lights! Not only did that light give you an indication which way was up, but also helped lessen the multiple failed attempts that you always worry are slowly destroying your connector. However, after minimal use the light stopped working and with it went the sole purpose of buying this cable in the first place. That is till a month or so later, when the light came back on... full time! Now I am the owner of night light slash phone charger!

Pros:
-Long
-Charges everything I've thrown at it. (Galaxy S4, Note 3, android tablet and Dell Venue pro, plus asst gadgets)
-Light (when working as intended)

Cons:
-Light (when not working)
-Light (when working as not intended)

Sometimes the light stays on even when you're not touching it - but all you have to do is unplug it and the plug it back in. I LOVE the length and I've had many comments on the light - it will definitely be on my gifting list as well this year. this is such a simple idea, I can't believe no one has thought of it before!

Fits Samsung Galaxy S5 perfectly. A wiggle does not lose contact. The light is surprisingly useful in poorly lit room. Longer than usual makes use more comfortable.
