I replaced a 5 year old "Big orange home center" cheapo bathroom fan with this one. The difference is night and day, the Panasonic is so quiet, my wife asked me if it was on. After showering, there isn't even any fog on the medicine cabinet mirror. Granted, the Panasonic was about 3x more than my old one, but don't go 'cheap' on your fan because it is too hard to swap later. I originally choose this one because it was one of the few that would fit in a 2x6 joist bay. I’m glad I did.

The fan is excellent and very quiet. I wish the light bulb was a bit warmer, since it is very bright and a little harsh to my eye. When it is time to replace it I will look for something more yellow than pure white. The nightlight is excellent.

Had my handyman install this in our laundry closet. It is so much quieter than the old beater fan from 1988 was! The light is a nice and bright, beautiful sunlight hue which makes the closet appear to have a skylight instead of a small little fixture. Highly recommend the Panasonic vents!

This is soooo quiet. We have another .3 scone bath fan, and this is quieter than that. I used a full 4" duct from the exhaust to the vent so no reducers.

You can install this from a finished space provided that there is a vent available, you just have to extend the hole an extra 4-8" to angle the vent/electrical box into the ceiling space.

This is so quiet that the mechanical timer is the only thing I hear when it's on, and aside from the light I wouldn't know its running. This is perfect for our small 3/4 bath off the master bedroom.

I installed 5 of panasonic silent fans, 2 110CFMs, 2 80 CFMs with light and 1 80cfm w/o light. The ones w/o light are awesome all 3 of them, but for some reason the ones with light are a lot noisier, both of them. Still quieter than ordinary fans, but nowhere close to no light ones.
