    The 2.0 version is slightly different from the original one. It is wider (about 3 millimeters total) and the 'legs' are a little longer. This suits just fine for me because the previous version was somewhat small for me, I just got used to it. The reason I ordered this is because after about 2.5 years of use, the nose pad's screw broke and lost the nose pad while mountain biking. The new nose pad is also different; it is more separated from the frame compared to the previous version, and it also has TWO screws now...but they are still adjustable and fit fine. Another pro for these glasses is that they come with three interchangeable lenses...the original version didn't so I had to buy other sets. If you're wondering...the lenses for the previous version still work on this one :-)

    This is my third pair or tyrants and fourth pair of tifosi over 5 years. I wear them for golf, fishing, cycling and driving. I have kept my previous pairs for working around the house. Best sunglasses I have ever owned, especially for cycling! Vent prevents fogging and aids in quicq drying with sweat. Nose piece is ZERO slip and with the new two screw design will stay tight and not wiggle. I have turned many people to these from others such as Rudy, Oakley, etc. Price is great. Only wish I had purchased when I looked at them yesterday at $58.84 instead of (64) but the tracking cookies got me! I don't like when Amazon does that. I try to buy multiple items at once for shipping. I guess I will not worry about that anymore.

    Decent quality, but I was distracted by the logo in the upper left corner and the cutout (for ventilation?). When road biking, you really need a wide unobstructed view when zooming down hills/mountains. I found the needless logo and questionable ventilation was almost a safety hazard. Also the middle of the frame, where it dips down, lest in light which was also distracting. But I liked the fotec night light photochromic polarized lens. Provided just enough tint to gut the glare. Some people may want more tinting however.

    Purchased to use during my bicycle commute. I wear contacts now so i needed something to protect my eyes from the cold air and potential debris. These did a GREAT job protecting from the wind during my chilly morning commute in 20° temps. I use the clear lens since it's still dark out when I leave in the morning. The optics are indeed clear and the lens did not fog up at all. That's a HUGE bonus especially in the cold. I was worried that the small ports on the corner would create a small stream of nuisance air on my temples, but they didn't. I imagine they actually contributed to preventing fogging. I typically wear a 145 length arm in my eyeglasses. These fit great and landed just behind my ear, so i assume the effective arm length is between 140 -145.
    I had to knock off a star for two reasons:
    1. The arms bow out in such a way that it's nearly impossible to put these on beneath a balaclava. This makes them rather awkward and cumbersome to use in the cold weather. I had to land the arm on the outside of the balaclava but beneath the helmet straps. Luckily the nose grips are fairly effective at keeping them stabilized on the face. It'd be great to have arms that were simply straight and not so bowed. Even is the arms were tad more thin that would help tremendously. Perhaps I need to just find another pair for winter riding?

    2. The nose clip while very effective, does not seem to have enough "memory" to retain the width that you adjust it to in order to fit your nose properly. Half way during my ride I could tell they were starting to "close in" from the expanded position i'd put them into to fit my nose properly. Not sure if this is just a result of the cold air or what. It definitely wasn't a result of sweat.

    I see that the price fluctuates between forty eight & sixty one dollars here on Amazon. I feel like these are a GREAT value at forty eight dollars....but maybe a tad too high once you hit the sixty dollar range.

    Awesome sunglasses at a nice price. These are actually for people with larger than average face size. It's very hard for me to find glasses of any kind in my size. These bad boys are perfect. Will be ordering the Clarion red lenses option soon.

    I really lover the style and comfor of these glasses but I dropped them once on a tile floor and they immediately had chips. Not scratches chips and you can see them in your view like waterspots. Just don't think the lenses should chip off the reflective material so easy. I had many $20 glasses that could take more of a beating. Scratches yes chips no. Probably wouldn't buy again cause the lenses cost as much as the glasses did on the orginal purchase.

    I have lost my Tifosi Tyrants on two occasions, and both times, I have immediately bought another identical pair. First and foremost, the tint adjusts for the amount of sunlight. It takes a minute for the lenses to adjust, but they change from almost no tint to extremely dark tint. This is great for when you need eye protection but don't necessarily need the lenses to be tinted - or don't need them to be very dark. I bought these for bicycling, and then I started wearing them when hiking. Then I thought the wraparound design might make them suitable for skiing, and I was right. (I absolutely hate goggles, but you have to wear something.) I get enough protection from the wind and cold (I'm sure some people who are more cold-sensitive might disagree), and the tint enables me to see clearly in flat light and bright sunlight. When you're in all that white snow, that's a big deal.

    The frames fit securely but comfortably, and they grip the side of my head just enough to keep them from falling off. I am female and have a medium-sized head, and they are perfect for me. The wraparound design gives ample wind protection for pretty much any sport. The design makes you look fierce, too - an added bonus. Love them!
