I have always worn the more traditional hose like jobst stockings at work. I am a nurse and am standing/walking all day. I tried these on someone else's recommendation. I wasn't sure if they would really have as much compression as the other kind. I was surprised as I like these and think they work just as well as the more traditional kind. They are easy to put on, comfortable to wear, and my legs don't hurt at the end of the day. I with they were made in the thigh high version.

This Is a home run. And now I learned a lesson. I had a blood clot In my leg and was given a prescription for Jobst socks 15 to 20 mmHg Knee high. I bought a bunch of other socks and the compression only came up to my ankle the prescription reads to the knee. So from now on I will only get Jobst socks because they are the best socks I ever wore and will only wear from ow on. I would recommend these.

This is the new version of Jobst socks and I like them very well. They aren't as thick as the original but they feel just the same. They also look much, much, much better than the plain old black socks. They are much easier to pit on and take off; not nearly the struggle as with the original black.

They are expensive, but this is about as cheap as you'll find them. Other places can charge up to $50 a pair!

I've bought 5 pairs already and will probably buy more in the near future.

Worth the money for these socks. I wear these for my job at a tire factory where I am on my feet pounding concrete for 50 hours. If I forget to wear these, I can feel a difference at work with my feet and legs aching. When I wear these at work, I am still able to come home and jog at least 3 miles with out my feet or legs hurting. I bought five pairs of these so I can wear them everyday.

Remarkably comfortable. 70 years of walking and standing have taken their toll and with a family proclivity for flat feet and planers heel, I need all the comfort I can get. For styles sake white would have had a more pleasing look but the feet don't care. It does seem as if the prices have jumped considerably but I have no knowledge of the factors included in their expense sheets.
