I'm using this antenna with the ZB545, and I'm very pleased with the results. I'm in a marginal signal area for all of the major cellular providers, and the stock antenna that came with the ZB545 didn't improve coverage much, even when mounted on my roof.

However, with the CANT-0042, the booster now works perfectly. With T-Mobile, I went from 0-1 bars before the ZB545, to 2 bars with the stock antenna, to full coverage and a useable data connection with the CANT-0042. If you're underwhelmed by the performance of the ZB545, give this antenna a try - I'm glad I did, as I have a solid data connection now in an area where I barely had any coverage before.

When Verizon eliminated one of their cell towers near our home (yeah, it actually happens sometimes), of the two remaining towers, only one was "in range" and it was slightly over the hill and beyond line-of-sight. Swapping out my omnidirectional antenna for this log-periodic made a big difference in received signal strength inside of our home/office. We went from three "dots" of signal strength (on my iPhone 5) to a solid five dots in my office and throughout most of our modest (1500 s.f.) home.

What I wasn't expecting was the difference that this made in battery life on my iPhone. Now I can get through two days of standby without recharging. This makes it much less critical to plug my phone in every night.

We've improved our cell coverage up in the mountains by using this antenna outside...however, we live in a windy world (and this antenna points head on into the wind) and the metal bracket isn't substantial enough. We've had to add a stronger bracket.

work very well no complaints just need to make sure the antenna is pointed at the cell tower there are apps on line to show you where your closest cell tower is directionally

Nothing different in the signal after installing, 2 bars before, 2 bars after, and two bars outside. Zboost even sent me a stronger indoor antenna to transmit inside the house which only gets 15 feet of coverage.

I have one bar where i live. This has to be pointed at the tower to work according to the directions. My nearest tower was 16 miles away. I had no increase in strength. Ended up getting a booster that works thru the internet. Now have five bars anywhere inthehiuse.

Great product, does the job. I placed it in the attic, as the roof is too high. I get 4 bars (used to get 1)

I had bought the zBoost SOHO Xtreme Dual-Band Cell Phone Signal Booster Kit for Home and Office. When I installed it, I did not get the results that I needed. I chatted with the zBoost people and they suggested I get this uni-directional antenna as it would give me a better signal. With this antenna you must find the best direction of signal so I downloaded both the zBoost app and the Open Signal app, which had been recommended by quite a few people. I spent a long time figuring out which direction I needed to point the new antenna. I made sure that I had at least two bars on my cell phone at this location and in this direction as the zBoost folks said I needed. I get a good signal in most of my house but on the far side, in my office, it is minimal. The ad for this unit says it will cover up to 5,000 square feet. Since my house is only about 2,600 square feet, I am pretty disappointed with the coverage. As it is, I can normally receive a call in my office but must walk out to the middle of the house to have a decent conversation with anyone.
