I've been using this product for several years and just keep repurchasing it when the annual license expires. When it is within 30 days of expiration the software prompts me to renew it with the Trend Micro web site. However, I have compared the pricing and it is far less expensive to buy it again. It is even cheaper to buy it as a disc rather than software license only and download it. Please be aware that when you enable one license, the clock begins ticking on all three. In other words, you can't use one license from the package, wait for it to expire in one year, then use the second license. I have two PCs so I only use two of the three licenses. I offered the third license to each of my two children, but they already have the software so I guess the third one will go unused.

I love this company, this is not my first time buying this product. This is the only product that has protected my computer from any and all threat . It tells you when you have entered a Dangerous page so you can back out before there is a problem. Scans are done often and they do not invade your time on the computer you just get a small notice at the top of the page that you can either ignore or click to see what they just did.

I have been using this product for 3- 4 years. I am very happy with it.

forget mcafee and Norton and all the others. I've used this for about six years straight. It's cheaper than the others and works better. It's behind the scenes protecting you and not popping up in your face all day. (There are some pop-up notices, but you can check a box to disable them in future sessions).

I just installed it this afternoon, but the whole package has information issues. 1) Because I had a different Trend Micro product already installed, it could not complete the installation. It offered to uninstall the previous product but could not, and when it tried to continue the install, it reported the same problem. I bailed on the install, uninstalled the previous TM product using the control panel Programs aplet. The uninstall process required the password of the previous TM product, and the new installer could not ask for it. So, the installation was not easy nor quick. I had to boot several times just to get past the uninstall and rewrite the registry.

2) It lets you set up a timed scan, but doesn't say if there can be only one. 3.) It lets you set that it is a quick, or full scan, but doesn't seem to all you to say which of several disks to fully scan. I have three Operating systems on the computer, and it really should not be scanning parts of those other disks, and perhaps not the backup files. It says you can select a picture to skin the control console from a pre-set collection or from your own picture files. However, I saw no control to allow one to specify a picture of my own. There are perhaps other minor things that I have not yet found, as I did not want to take the whole live-long day investigating the entire user interface.
