I relied too much on the picture and was surprised to find it was very skinny! In looking at the details, the description clearly says 1/2 inch width, so it's my mistake. Still... change the picture please! In using it on the smoker I am building, it sticks well and conforms to the surfaces in a substantial feeling way. I am still in the process of converting the fridge to a smoker, so I can't vouch for its heat resistant qualities yet.
