I'm using this to hold a keyboard while I stand at my desk. This is much less expensive alternative than buying one of the fancy standing desks. I have twin 24" monitors mounted on arms that are adjustable. I tilt the monitors up and use the tray to hold the keyboard while standing. For this purpose, I am very happy.

This tray is very solid ... not tippy. I would not stand on it, but I did press firmly on the mouse extension and there was no possibilty of tipping the tray.

The tray is easy to adjust. Each leg must be adjusted individually, but if you understand the mechanics, it is easy to work with. There is more than enough height available with these adjustable legs.

I have a very wide keyboard that slightly overhangs on the non-mouse-pad side. I would like this to be 20 inches wide, but I can live with that. I also wish the mouse pad was larger, but I can also live with that.

I wish there was a grippy material on the bottom of the legs. My desk is a shiny formica-like surface so the tray can slide. I've rolled a couple pieces of tape and stuck these on the bottom. That stops the movement completely. I found after a couple days, there is enough tape residue on the legs that I no longer need to do this.

Since I am using it for a keyboard, I do not need the USB powered fans. It would have been nice to not have the fans and pay a bit less, but I may remove the fans for use elsewhere.

Do not worry that this is a cheap piece of junk, It is well designed and solid. I highly recommend this.

This isn't a con as much as it's something of note. The picture does not do it justice as to how large the product is. While it is great for if you were say at a coffee shop confined to a chair, the product itself is not very compact. That is to say, it can be slimmed down a good bit when fully folded however the overall size isn't something you could fit in a backpack. See attached photo for comparison. Again this is just something to note.

Will definitely buy again should the need arise.

I just got this today, and so far I am very pleased with it. The fans are really quiet and are made from quality steel, not plastic like I thought they would be, the whole thing is just plain solid and gorgeous. There are many combinations of adjusting and folding this product to suit my needs: I have a 17.3" laptop and I like sitting Indian Style as well as
However, I do have three problems/ suggestions for this otherwise stellar product:

1) If the USB does not provide an additional port and sticks out quite a bit. Laptops often have as few as 1 USB ports, and though I have 3, I need as many as I can get. It is also in the way of the mouse.

2) The lip to hold my laptop up is a little bit on the small side, and prevents me from greater incline. I can only put it at a maximum of 15 degrees.

3) One of the adjustment joints is a little stuck,and takes a bit to get it to turn.

4) The mouse pad is lovely, but the fans make it very cold to the touch, if it could be coated with something that wouldn't spread the cold, that would be optimal.

I love this stand. I have been looking for a stand that would allow me to work while standing up. This sure fit the bill and was inexpensive compared to others I researched. It is sturdy and holds my 17inch laptop with no problem. I love the fans and the mouse pad attachment. I purchased this laptop desk primarily for using my computer, but I have also used it as a bed tray for my sick kids and as a writing desk when using a notebook. It is functional right out of the box, and much sturdier than I thought it would be. The fan is quiet, although I usually forget to plug it in. The positioning can be tricky, but I just downloaded the jpeg with all the different articulations to my laptop to be able to reference as needed. The only thing I might change, is the width. I imagine some people might prefer a bit more room.
