I have used many previous versions of the hallmark card programs. My last program was 2009 which I used a lot, and really liked. I was skeptical about buying this version, but I did. I bought it through the hallmark site, simply because they offered a lower rate for previous version users. It installed very easily. Imported all my address from prior version. Simple to use, great graphics, many more cards, and envelopes. I like the preview page, and it shows if it has a matching envelope. No problems at all, except I can't stop using it.

This software is a total bust. After installation, it won't do anything. Any request results in a pop-up window that says 'Loading", but no matter how long you wait, it never completes loading. In addition, the pop-up states it's the 2013 version, even though the packaging and the software itself indicate it's the 2014 version. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software with the same result. How do I get a refund?

We are in our 70s and Hallmark has always stood for excellence; however, their s/w is poorly done. The promised corrections never are issued and their computer support is questionable. I have upgraded twice but the last time created so many problems that I uninstalled it. Frankly, I'm afraid to try again, especially with the continual malfunctions and complaints. Will continue to wait for Hallmark to get their act together. Meanwhile, suggest using Greeting Card Factory which is great and extraordinarily easy.

Aswith previous versions it is not possible to use the calendar. Only the current month is shown and it is impossible to change months. Hallmark says they are aware of the problem and "working" on a fix. They should have been working in HM DLX 2011. 2012,2013 and now 2014. It seems they are not interested. Other than this feature it is a good program that I have used for years.

Looks Great when Created, but Very Poor Resolution When Printed!

I was excited to get this software and it installed fine and I had fun selecting cards and customizing them. Easy and fun to use!!! However, two problems:

(1) The software led me to believe that online cards were included. To send online greetings, you need to pay extra at the Hallmark site (annual fee). The software ONLY includes a link.

(2) Cards look terrific on the PC as edited and saved... I sent to my local printer (UPS store) for quality color printing on card stock and the result came back with very poor resolution graphis. Very grainy pictures and the words were almost blurry on the card. I am very disappointed in the resolution of the finished product.

I have made many purchases from Amazon and this is the first one that has given me a lot of trouble. It is as if there are 2 programs in one in the Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 2014. The card part of it (cards) works just fine - but it is impossible to print the calendar using the conventional method. When I click on the Print button to print a calendar this message comes up" Open Default Printer Fails - 1801" I made sure that all of the settings were correct - the proper printer etc. but no success. I enlisted the help of my engineer son who installed CutePDF which basically bypasses the print instruction, saves the calendar and then allows you to print from the save mode. This is way too much trouble. Since this is a new version I am hoping that Hallmark will fix this because I don't have time to monkey around with a program that has built in glitches. Otherwise I have used the Card Studio programs for years and have been very satisfied with them.

Don't buy it...

Issues with SQL SDK keep it crashing on windows 7 or 8.1

Nova development will fill you with spam

Customer service is awful (will reply in days and days with non sense first level basic endless questions)

They can't keep up with technology...

Hallmarksoftware goes down often .... so my other downloaded version of Deluxe 2014 (Imagine this happens a day before your wife's birthday, well this happened to me!!!)

Spare yourself from another stress and frustration source.

Probably the positive reviews are coming from their people.....

Don't buy it, if you still love Hallmark get an account with them DIRECTLY on their website and get your cards from them.... also there are plenty of other options, this DIY software is a DIY headache....

I find it really annoying that the program is designed to print the "Hallmark" sign on the back of all the cards, no matter what you do to hide it. If I bought a licence to customize my cards, why should I keep advertising the brand? I agree that maybe a copyright sign might be necessary, but only with a small line at hte bottom of the last page. I think this is unfair and I don't like it at all. I wish I could return the program, but it seems that there are no returns for software purchased in Amazon (or any other store where you buy software AFAIK-As Far As I Know)
As for the software features I think it's easy to use and there are tons of clipart that you can use to customize your cards.
