FABULOUS! This set is awesome. I first found these specially wrapped onigiri (rice balls) stuffed with seasoned beef at our Asian market. We, my daughters & I, grabbed a few to take on the road and we're pleasantly surprised with the wrapping and how the seaweed stayed crisp & the rice stayed moist, all the while holding in lots of meat and NOT falling apart! I naturally searched for them, thinking these would be perfect in my family's school or work lunches or bento boxes, picnics, outings of any kind.

I found them in Amazon, of course! It came in the mail quickly and I immediately went to work with them. The directions are simple, the onigiri rice mold is super easy and packs rice in tightly, more so than my hands could ever form one. I have since used the rice mold for Fried Onigiri since it holds up so well! I also add more items inside the rice ball knowing that the wrapped nori will hold it all in. AND SIMPLE? Forget about it! Almost too easy!

Please make sure you show your family how to properly open them before lunch or they may end up unwrapping the onigiri altogether and it falls apart. There are instructions and pictures on the back of the nori wrapper package. It will save some time and frustration!

Overall, I am highly pleased with my purchase and have already bought replacement nori wrappers! Vacations are coming up & these would be a perfect snack for the beach, a hike, a shopping spree (just double-check for seaweed in your teeth afterward!) Momocon (Anime) and Dragon*Con (everything sci-fi, sci-fantasy, anime, Steampunk, comic, shows, movies, etc.related) are coming up soon too. Perfect pick-me-up while you're cosplaying, people watching & walking all over kingdom come!

Highly, highly rate this set & recommend to everyone! So beyond worth the money!

I love onigiri and have since childhood but I never new I could make it for my lunches. I had tried but the nori was always limp by the time it was lunch. These solve that problem and are a hit with coworkers as well. I made some and brought them in and everyone wanted to try them. They are easy to use and keep the nori nice and fresh until you are ready to eat. Order some and make all the onigiri your heart desires.
