I would have gave this a 5 star rating but there was some pegs that I would not have passed if I was inspecting them. The gears work great and they fit good for my application but some of them had slag on some of them that took away from their beauty. I bought 4 sets (20 tuners) and was happy with 8. The rest had imperfection when they were cast made. For the price you really can't complain though.

I purchased to replace original tuning pegs on a very inexpensive, but well intentioned uke i received from my wife. I was so excited to install them and amazed at the ease of installation. They took that uke and made the instrument way better. They keep their tension very well and glide when turned. Also, you cant beat the price! I am very happy with my purchase

Great Price, Fast Delivery, but they are not really ukulele pegs. The shaft is too long for a uke with a standard thickness headstock. I'm sure they were built for guitar with a thicker headstock. The measurements are clearly published, so shame on me for not looking closer before ordering. They can be made to work by making sure the strings are left long and wound downward around the shaft many times so the angle of string as it crosses over the nut is correct. I was after something retro-looking to use on older instruments which originally had friction pegs. I can use these on an old plastic fretboard Harmony and they'll be fine but I wouldn't use them on an old Martin or Gibson. The back of the headstock looks great. Now if the posts were only shorter....

Well made basic tuners. Tight gears. The ferrules are a big plus and give the front of your head stock a completed appearance. Recommend these for all you cigar box builders out there. Shipped airmail from China and arrived quickly.
