I have been searching for a sturdy coat rack and one that fit with our home. I love it! Natural wood is what I like and this really fit the bill. My husband is less than careful with anything and if this gets marred or scratched, it won't be a big disaster like with a fine piece of furniture. It is sturdy and works very well for us. My only thing was how it arrived. When I seen the box I just thought it would be damaged. There were big holes in the box and it was smashed in. Someone had attempted to tape holes but was less than satisfactory. The rack was okay and nothing broken.

I've been fighting with a metal Coat Tree for 7 years before finding this one - what a difference! This one if strong, sturdy, and well put together. I am worried I may have to provide some extra stability to the base, but so much better. Who knows, I may buy a second one. . .
