This is such a simple, nice little fan. It's very lightweight but small enough that it fits nicely on my desk at work. It also puts out quite a breeze, considering its size. My only complaint is that the stand that holds it up is slightly warped, but it's not very noticeable and doesn't effect the functioning of the fan. I like that it's USB, since my computer is sitting on my desk and I have no outlets left! Sticky note in photo for size reference.

I love this fan! I would give 10 stars if I could. Yes it is plastic and yes it is very light but it is actually sturdy, takes only a small amount of space on my desk at work and the color is pretty (aqua blue). On function, the breeze is just perfect for a single person sitting at a desk/cubicle. It won't blow your paperwork all over, but enough air to keep you fresh and cool when feeling a bit warm or stuffy. I got a similar type at a local big-box store that cost more and didn't work as well. Would buy again and recommend to friends. It is only on/off so you cannot adjust the speed, but you can adjust the tilt higher or lower. For tight quaters, it doesn't take up much space. The base is less than 6 inches wide (left to right) and less than 3 inches deep (front to back) and about as tall as my pencil holder.

I purchased this fan to place inside my TV console that houses my HTS receiver, cd and bluray players and cable box. The fan is used to keep the air moving while the devices are operating and the console doors are closed. The fan is doing its job--all devices are operating and not overheating. I am extremely pleased with this purchase especially since the fan the furniture company recommended was $98.00.

Very quiet, lightweight, plugs into usb port or an extension usb, keeps laptop cool. I have it sort of on the power cord transformer for the laptop as it get very hot and it keeps it cool also. Can be opened via 4 little screws to clean blades. Great buy. Really solved a lot of heat issues without having to plug into an outlet.

My ultimate recommendation to anyone thinking of purchasing this low priced fan is to steer clear. It isn't quiet at all. It makes a loud clattering sound. The item I received came in a fan box that fell apart after opening the packing. It has rust deposits on the screws, some smudging along the bottom foot rest which makes me think this was a return, repacked and shipped out. The fan looks positively fragile, since it is entirely plastic. However, unlike sturdy thick plastic, it's fairly thin and looks easy to break.

While it does put out quite a bit of air, the loud noise makes me disinterested. It's not quiet at all.

This is an adorable fan, cute color and comes with a USB cord connected to the device. I was so excited to take it with my on hot days(its very lightweight) and planned to connect it to my portable charger but it wasn't meant to be. It worked well for about 5 days then I started having problems with the cord. It would just cut off on its own and then randomly start back up or I couldn't get it to come on at all. I didn't think it would last for years but I was expecting at least 6 months and I don't feel like going through returning the device. So, spend a little more $$ and get something else.

Perfect for my need which was to externally and inexpensively supplement the cooling fans inside my desktop. It has an on/off switch but I keep it on most of the time. It is a tiny click away from totally silent and cannot be heard over the general ambient noise in my home. With the exception of metal components in the motor and a metal Phillips screw here and there, it is plastic, including the blades. The protective cover has openings about 6 mm wide so it is very unlikely to macerate even the smallest finger. It generates a solid breeze, which directed at the air input vents has kept the internal temperature of my desktop well below that which generates a problem temperature warning.

For the price I paid for this color fan, it is a super bargain. It would also be perfect for cooling people and pets, if necessary, even though I believe that computers come first. It arrived in Prime Time, packed very securely.
