I had priced different rods for the windows of our new Craftsman-style home--with bronze hardware throughout. We have a lot of transitional decor, along with rustic antiques and some Southwestern pieces. I needed something bronze--not girlie, that would tie everything together. The prices I was finding on any kind of bronze rods--both in stores and from custom services--were heart-stopping. Fortunately, I found this. Although I knew I would ultimately need three, I ordered only one--just to be sure. Pictures do not do this item justice! In the photos, the variegated painting looks a bit bizarre--in person, it is more toned down and elegant. Really, really pretty. Comes complete with hardware, instructions. I could not be more pleased with this purchase and the price. I'm ordering the other two right now ...

I bought these especially to compliment a rug with a leaf motif, and they do that perfectly. They were very easy to mount. The only caution I would give anyone is to be sure the space between your window frame and the wall is wide enough to accommodate the leaf part of the rod. Ours space barely was large enough, with the rod touching the wall very slightly. It is a small room, with two large windows, so there is not much space on the outside of either of them.

I gave this a lower score due to the fact that the product packaging was damaged when it arrived and as you can see by the picture, the end piece is already broken before I even opened it. It is not worth it to have to send this back for a refund, the package is just too bulky. I am hoping that Achim Imports will read this review and look at the pictures and send me a replacement end piece. The rod holds up my curtains, that's what it is supposed to do. Nothing special about this product. If you can afford something better, get it.

Very attractive looking and high quality. Unfortunately, the ends of the rod (the leaves) were much larger than I expected. The ends are 5 inches each. Because of this, I was not able to use the curtain rod in the original spot that I purchased it for, but I have other plans for it :)

The anchors for this product are poor quality, most of them broke because they're so flimsy. I recommend purchasing separate ones before you try to install this. The leaf motif is nice. We'll see how it holds up.

Decent looking rod. The wall anchors it comes with are garbage. It put a hole in our wall. The head of the screw is too big to get in or out of the key hole. Had to find our own anchors to put this up.

Unfortunately, they came broken since the box was damaged, but Achim Imports sent me a new one without any problems. They do look nice, but the paint on them comes off easily when you do any kind of adjustments near the screw ends. I just took a permanent black marker to cover up the problem areas.
