This is a great low budget choice and is 100 times better than the crap earpiece Sony shipped with the PS4. It's sturdy, comfortable, and the mic is easily adjustable. The volume and mute options are a nice touch as well. I've had no problems with voice clarity in speaking or listening.

One thing to note is this headset seems to be designed for larger heads. I have a pretty big head (hat size 17 3/8) and the smallest setting fits me well. Those with smaller or narrow heads might not be pleased with the way this headset fits.

I've never tried this brand before but this one seems to be pretty good so far. The only detriment is that the earpiece covers your ear dampening some of the sound from your main audio source. Still, I highly recommend them.

Bought this Mono chat headset back in December (as an X-mas gift to me). The fit was perfect, the sound...not so much. Although to be fair, so far no headset seems to produce loud enough chat audio even when you set your PS4 at the highest setting. I believe that Sony has an imposed volume limiter on the PS4 and just kept that under their hat.

Despite the less than loud audio, I had zero complaints...that is until the headset I had stopped working. I'm not sure what exactly went wrong (a short in the wire, or some drop related invisible damage). I went back to my USB Turtle Beach PLa, which work ok (and also have the same loudness issue), but it's a stereo headset which annoys me to no end. Having looked in the market, I noticed that there were a few more choices compared to last year...but the only thing that looked remotely good were the Triton Kaiken, whose only problem for me was a 2 to 5 week shipping date when ordering from Amazon. Since I didn't have any real issues with the DreamGEAR set, I decided to order another one (this time it was $9 less than what I originally paid here). Hopefully if I take better care of this set, it will last me much longer (cheap is cheap, but if you mishandle things, what do you expect). If not, hopefully there will be more options available this X-mas.

Works great with the PS4. I like having the mute button and volume control. I can't speak to much to voice quality (since I can't hear myself), but friends say it is better than the stock ps4 ear piece.

It does get uncomfortable after awhile, and it seems kind of small -- but it works better than what came with my ps4 and I am happy with it. I would buy again.

For the price, this headset is pretty good. It looks great and are very comfortable. I also like the mute button, when I don't feel like talking. The volume isn't mind blowing, but it's decent enough to hear people in party chat. I wanted something to tie me over until BT headsets get support, but I find I might just sick with these. It does the job!

I just had to replace the garbage mic that comes with the PS4. I didn't want a full on gaming headset (I already had my ps4 plugged into my home theater system) so I opted for this relatively inexpensive over the ear mic. Clarity is good, the mic works great and it appears to be quite durable and best of all it's comfortable to wear. This is probably best for an adult, while it is adjustable I don't think this would fit too well for a kid. The mic can be bent and swiveled out of the way and the volume and mute controls are easily reachable and usable (located on the cord) without having to look down.

Alright, I started out liking this thing. Then two days in, I started to notice the problems. Sometimes you would have to unplug it from the Ps4 controller and plug it in, because people couldn't hear you. The volume is all wonky, sometimes people are way to loud, and other times they are too low, even though it is constantly on the exact SAME setting. Then to top it all off, when your in "party chat" or whatever you wanna call it, the mic is ALWAYS making this really loud buzzing sound like I'm playing in a tattoo shop. (2 ft. from the needle) This is just a waste of money, I recommend you save you money for the "Gold Wireless Stereo Headset."

The price is right and he quality is perfectly fine. I bought two for the kids (and my husband) and they seem to like them. They're reasonably comfortable, have good sound quality, and (as best I can tell) have a good quality microphone. Now if only everyone else out there would get a decent headset I'd be much happier.
