These are great for hard surfaces but I thought they had an optional thumbtack backing to put them on a bulletin board (they don't). That would have been ideal and I would definitely have given them five stars then.

I was really excited about getting these because I have a lot of loose postcards, photos, and miscellaneous stuff that I would like to keep for inspirational reasons. I thought this would be a great way to display these items. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, these little things do not stick to the wall as promised and many of them stick very far off the wall.

Disappointing and expensive for what they are (not.)

I thought adhesive meant that they could go up on a wall. I'm a college student and now am going to have to pay extra for damaging my wall just because I thought that these wouldn't hurt it. So upset.

These are super cute but after one month of having a 4x6 picture on them, they keep falling down. The tack and the actual metal piece with the clip are held together by a sticky substance so maybe you could reinforce it yourself.

Don't bother. These stick out from the wall much farther than I expected. I hung my kids' artwork, but they easily slipped out of the wall (fell) with only the weight of an 8x10 colored paper.
