The cost of Excedrin Migraine continues to climb, and it is partly due to the numerous Tylenol recalls of the recent years. Excedrin Migraine is my favorite all-around pain aid. I use it for most anything. Labeling it only for "migraines" is too limiting, when the product is so versatile and willing to serve. It's active ingredients include 250mg of Tylenol, 250 of aspirin (NSAID), and 65mg of caffeine, which super-charges the drug. It's relief and energy in one pill.

Don't misunderstand. I do get migraines, and I don't mean just "bad headaches"; there's a big difference, and it isn't about pain. Migraines have to involve secondary symptoms, such as stuttering, nausea, sensitivity to light/noise, visual distortion, etc. What Excedrin Migraine is good at is helping with daily bad headaches and treating the after effects of true migraines. As for during a migraine, this product can be useful for staying awake and somewhat functional, but some pain may be present. Migraine pain is best treated by a perscription medication.

Why five stars if it's not a perfect migraine cure? I don't expect miracles. I know my migraines are perscription-grade, not OTC-level. I still love my Excedrin Migraine for all my other headaches, back aches, and other pain, because it is a powerful drug. And, this 300 ct. bottle is a better value than anything I can buy locally or on other websites. Having done without Excedrin Migraine for a week, I'm definitely appreciative of having it back in my medicine cabinet.
