Bought these to give medicine to our dog 3 times per day. They were awful! The medicine contained an oily substance in it and literally within a few days of using the syringe, the numbers were rubbing off. At that point there was no way to know how much you were putting into the syringe. I tried to make the best of what I had, so I took a knife and engraved a line for each mL on the syringe. This worked okay, until the black insert inside of the syringe (what pushes the medicine out) kept coming off, getting stuck inside of it. You can take the syringe apart to fix, but literally it was not worth time or effort. These were crap in my eyes. We ended up throwing them away and purchasing a bigger syringe off of Amazon that did not come apart and had the numbers engraved into the plastic. Those were amazing! Had to purchase a box of 100, but didn't pay much more than I did for these 5. Do Not Recommend.

The nozzle is a bit more snub than pictured here. The actual measurement of the tip is only 1cm. And, also (hate to sound like a bummer but), the action is not as smooth as I'd like it to be. So the slightly sluggish action, coupled with the shortish nozzle, makes it not the best choice for me to administer meds to a fussy cat which is what I got them for. As a side note, personally, I found the 3ml/cc syringe a better size for that purpose since, I'm only administering 1ml/cc of medicine so the syringe doesn't have to be that large for that purpose. (shush, but I got the ones I wanted over at ebay :) 3ml syringe with a 2cm long nozzle.

We purchased these syringes for repeated use to administer my son's medications (once/day) and we rotate the five syringes so they're each used once or twice per week. We process these syringes in warm-hot soapy water, then allow to air dry. The down side is the rubber stopper (not shown in the picture) on top of the plunger can become adherent to the inside of the syringe, even when placed in there in clean/dry status. This creates issues when drawing up or administering medications, especially if you're hoping for smooth instead of choppy flow. I will continue to search for a higher quality brand, but I will say that the quality is probably what you can expect for the price.

Got these things to feed kittens that refuse nipples. Lots of them do. They work perfectly. They are not designed for long term use so if you feed lots of kittens as we do (we foster kittens) you will got through a lot of them. The writing on the outside goes first! Then (due to frequent washings) the plunger breaks down. They are actually not meant for heavy use so keep that in mind.

NOT AS PICTURED. They are different than the ones in the picture, they have a rubber not plastic stopper and they are absolutely awful. Got them today and already throwing out my first one since after a couple uses the plunger is nearly impossible to pull up or press down. How hard is it to put up an accurate picture of the product?

These syringes are ok, but they are very very cheap and break really easily. The rubber on the plunger is constantly slipping off and syringes get jammed and then stop working properly. They are ok if you are only going to use it once, but if you plan to use it for medicine or syringe feeding a pet until an illness passes then this will not work well.
