I live year around in a 5th wheel. My wall lights used incandescent bulbs. I would turn the one lamp on (has two bulbs) when watching TV in the evenings as the TV screen is sensitive to light and would darken the darker it was in the trailer. The incandescent lights burnt out after about 2-3 months of usage. I bought these, but have not used the light much, so am not sure how long they will last. I know they sell lights like this in ten packs for a lot less than the cost of these two, but by what I read the quality was not good with those packs. Like ski equipment, you don't buy cheap skis, bindings, and boots to ski. Same with bulbs. I would rather spend more up front with hopes they last.. Last word of caution: Be careful installing these as all these type lights are more flimsy built than and incandescent. To much pressure and they may twist off in the socket. I would recommend you buy some electrical silicone paste to put on the base before installing. It helps make better electrical contacts and makes it easier to install and remove the bulbs (later). Your favorite hardware store should have some. (Use the stuff conservatively)

Works great have them in a reading lamp buy the bed in my camper nice white light well distributed no light or dark spots. had a little problem when I first put them in one light found out it was the fixture I suspect the incandescent bulbs got the fixture to hot and collapsed the contacts, bent them back up all is fine. I bought a couple of extras just in case, however murphy's law says these will never burn out in my lifetime.

Lots of lumens for very little battery power!

Here is my first opportunity:

I have an older motorhome that I had already changed out many lights and installed fluorescent fixtures several years ago that cost over $50 each plus a lot of installation work. However, I decided to order the 10 pack of LED's and try them in other locations. After popping off the plastic cover and removing the standard incandescent (IC) bulb, the LED did not work. I tried another, then another, then another - same result. The IC bulb still worked. I am pretty good at electrical issues, I can wire an entire house, but I am confused.

Eventually, I tried another socket in another part of the motorhome. All worked fine. Every bulb I had tried, worked. Then I went back to original socket to check voltage. It was OK but then I noticed it was a negative 12 V DC. LED's have a POLARITY Requirement. 5 out of 7 of my fixtures were wired properly with the central terminal positive. 2 fixtures were wired with the central terminal negative! I changed the wiring and all worked fine. Lots of warm lumens (light output) and low battery drain when I use these bulbs.

The second opportunity is to have light in more places without draining the battery. I have ordered more and now I know what to watch for in my RV.

One other opportunity is to have battery power left at the end of a 5 day camping trip. Another opportunity is to have your batteries last longer. The deeper you discharge an RV battery, the shorter its life is. So, change out the old IC heaters (yes the extra power used by IC bulbs is just converted to heat), get more light, and help your batteries provide longer service life.

As far as one reviewer saying they are easily broken.

Works great in my dinning table ceiling lamp by replacing two incandescent bulb for the 1/4 of the wattage. Identical color wavelength to the incandescent bulb with the warm white. No brainer here! Buy it and start saving your RV battery life today!

Don't know how to rank these.
Here's the issue. I ordered what was pictured, a light with a two pole base. When I put it in the socket, turned it on, it blew the fuse. When I looked, what I had received was a SINGLE pole base which bridged the double pole contacts and shorted the circuit.

Why I don't know how to rank these, amazingly, the rest of the lights in the RV required single pole. When I tried the double pole bulbs (again without checking - slow learner here), they wouldn't light.

I only ordered two bulbs, two different brands to make sure I would like what I was getting. No matter what you order CHECK THE NUMBER OF POLES (bumps or contacts) on the base of each bulb. Again, this picture shows double, what I received was single.

On a good note, plenty of light, almost too bright, but bulb is cool to the touch so if need be, I can put a piece of paper in the lens to diffuse.

Bought these for my RV. I modified the connection by soldering copper Wires to the 'pin' connections so I could use the slide base connection in the existing fixtures. I was concerned about the color temperature as I have tried other LED bulbs that were described as warm white, were actually very blue and cold. These match the color of the remaining incandescent bulbs in the RV. Since the lamp is larger and not as much of a 'point' source as the incandescent s these do not create as much glare as the originals even while giving greater lumen output.. MUCH less heat and lower power consumption.
