I used this paint on my child with sensitive skin, and he didn't have any reaction at all. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be enough to paint the 6 kids that we wanted to paint, but it was plenty (4 of the faces were full faces), and we still have plenty left.

These face paints are better than decent, they work well and give good coverage. The book offers instructions or ideas. It is pancake make up, which must be wetted to use. Suggested: a real make-up sponge, although a small sponge is provided.

Lots of fun!! I bought this for my daughter after we had her face painted at a carnival, and wanted to try it at home. Lots of entertainment value! The book provides tons of ideas with step by step instructions for many designs, which I found extremely helpful. I am not artistic at all, but found that I could do all the designs. The paints seem to be a nice consistency. They do run a little bit, but that may be my fault for using too much water. It is pretty easy to wash off. You do not get a lot of paint, so I am not sure how well this would work if you were trying to use this at a party or carnival, but for one or two kids, it is a great item.

I bought this to paint my daughters face for Halloween. The price was a little high but the product was well worth it. It even comes with a little chart to tell you what to mix together to make the right shade of various colors. the paint dried on her face nice and did not smear when she touched it or ate candy or anything.

Had to throw it away. Just opened it to face paint for the 4th of July and it actually looked like the paint had been used. Couple of the colors were mixed. Anyway, it was dried up and not useable.

This is adorable. My son has been begging to have his face painted for weeks, ever since it was done at a festival. Decided to get this for him as a Christmas present and it didn't disappoint. Very easy to use. Painted him as a little tiger last night and I see many more uses in our future.

Pros:
-The illustrations are easy to follow.
-The paint was pretty easy to apply (see cons below for more detail)
- I love the packaging. Great to have the book attached to the paints with a place to store the sponge and brush.

Cons:
-It was a little tough to get the black paint off. My child is 3 and not great about holding still for scrubbing his face, and terrible about keeping his eyes closed when I'm washing him. So he went to sleep with some paint still on his face. Not really a big deal, but I wish it were easier to wash off.
-You have to do a little mixing on your own to get orange, pink, blue, etc...There are only primary colors included. I'm not that talented, so having only a sponge to try to mix them with wasn't ideal. If someone else has ideas on how to mix them I'd love to hear :)

Overall, a really cute set. The paint will last quite a while and it's lots of fun for the little's.

These paint are not oily or messy. They paint on almost like water color and washes off with water and cloth pretty cleanly. If the child does not want to wash her paint off (which happened to me) the paint can stay as long as 24 hours without too much smearing. Good quality and last quit a long time. Used about 15 times now and still have plenty of paint left
