Not sure what I was thinking but this thing is plastic and very light...

It's all over the place with any kind of wind

The pegs would bend if the ground is not soaking wet and even though plastic made them weaker

Overall the kids enjoyed it but it didn't make it on the 2nd trip...didn't make it on my fun meter

My toddle daughter uses the horseshoes as necklaces and the rings as bracelets. That's about all the use they get since the stakes bend and break when trying to get them into the ground. I think if you used something above ground to hold them in, or sand, these would work great.

The horseshoes are nicely made and pretty sturdy. The downside of this product is the posts which are thin hollow plastic and will only go into sand or soft ground. I would say this is the perfect balance of price and quality for a party or a camping weekend. Go with another product if you are looking for long term or repeated usage. Alternatively, you could use a stick for the post in harder soils.

The plastic stakes are hard to install. You cannot really hammer them into the ground because they just flatten. I could not even use them. On the bright side the horseshoes are light enough for young kids to easily throw.
