This is an awesome rod! It has tons of backbone but a very sensitive tip to detect the lightest bites. I've been throwing anything from an 1/8th oz swim head to a 2 oz jointed swimbait. Would highly recommend this rod to anybody!

I bought one of these rods for pitching everywhere. I fish a lot of bass tournaments so I wanted a rod that would stand the test of time. The 7'3" is a good size for be as I'm not the tallest 5'9", so I don't smack the water on my pitch. I use this rod for punching heavy cover and the tip is soft enough to feel the bite while the backbone is stiff enought to pull the fish out. This rod is super light, it does not feel like a 7'3" rod in your hands. I love this rod so much, Im ordering one more as my frog rod.
