Part fit perfect and worked right out of the box. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was because it came with the wrong door handle cable. Cable was way short. Like 6" or more. I doubled checked my part numbers and double checked the part I ordered and everything matched. Somehow it came with a wrong cable. Easy fix, just took the cable off the old unit and everything good as new. Wasn't worth the hassle of trying to send back and exchange since I had the door all tore apart and the old cable still worked fine.

This is the passenger side rear door locking mechanism. Includes the entire actuator, latch mechanism & cable to the inside door handle all in one unit with no assembly needed. Just open door, take off for panel, remove old one, and install new one. Fairly simple and there are YouTube videos on how to do this. Save yourself $ and do the repair yourself with this. Took me about 25 minutes to do.

GM used several different door panels on same year model trucks so make sure that you look up your part number using your vin number. You can call 855 902-6421 and GM will give you the correct part number. The actuator that I ordered was from their site using just the year and model of my truck. Well the actuator fit fine but the door latch cable was six inches too short. I used my old one since I had the door panel off and didn't want to go to the trouble to return it. Called and tried to them to send me the right one and was told by GM that I had ordered the wrong part and they don't sell just the cable.
