The build quality, sound levels, and aesthetic are all well worth the price. I've purchased several of these fans in different colours and even a couple of the 140 variant. The LEDs are great and are always a deep, vivid colour. The white ones, which I've recently purchased, are not given justice in the stock pictures. They're not even close to grey, more so a bright white with a bluish tint.
Across the entirety of my case, I have 6 AF120s and a single AF140 and so far I've never had a quality control issue and the fans are whisper quiet. Granted I have selectively tuned the speeds of the fans to make it as quiet as possible and with my case propped up onto my desk no more than 1.5m from my head, the only thing making noticeably audible noise is a humming sound from my motherboard area, likely my water-cooler.
Overall it may be a bit pricy to indulge in multi-fan setups, but if you're going to buy LED ones, you really can't go wrong with this brand.
I've also included a couple pictures from my latest WIP build with colour reproduction as accurate as I could get on my phone's camera, but it is still a tad more bluish than the actual thing. It's more similar to a 6000k white bulb than plain white.

These fans are FANtastic! Very good quality, quiet, and powerful! I replaced my standard case fans with these. (Replaced 4 Fans total). And wow! What a big difference. Not only can you feel a difference when putting your hand up to it, but temperature wise it made a big difference too. They reduced my temperatures for my CPU and GPU for example by up to 10 degrees Celsius! Depending on what I am doing at the time of course, temperatures vary, but the temperatures are definitely lower than they were. I would definitely recommend these fans to anybody. Oh, and of course the LEDs are fantastic! I got the blue ones and I love them!

Overall, just remember that these fans are a 3-pin connectors. In my build I used a fan controller, depending on the speed it is set to the light strength does scale with it.
