So So Quality

I was a little disappointed when I received this license plate frame in the mail. I had hoped that the CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS logo was painted or embossed into the frame, but its just a plastic insert into a generic frame. You can tell that whatever company makes this, they use the same metal frame over and over and just make different plastic inserts for all the various sports or whatever other logos they use this for.

With that in mind, it still looks good. The frame mounted on my dad's car looks nice, but after one winter, the metal is already starting to pit. I didn't have super high expectations for this,but had hoped it would have been a little bit nicer. I am concerned about the longevity of this frame. If the metal is already starting to pit, what will it look like after 2 or more years. Also, since the logo is just a plastic insert, will it ever fall out? So far it hasn't, but I gotta imagine its probably just glued in place and with weather, and road vibrations, I could see one day the insert falling out.

While yes it does fit and is pretty cool, my only issue is seems to be with the sticker. They're not coated to protect against weather and the red is starting to fade slightly and bleed into the white lettering.

I was disappointed that the plate had holes for 2 screws on the bottom. Cars now a days only have the top holes for the screws, so now my plate and license plate holder flap around because there is nothing to hold the bottom together!!
