This is the best deer call I have used. I am able to produce the sounds of all deer, buck, doe and fawns. I played with a doe that was around my stand for about 30 minutes. She would start to leave and I could call her back in. 3 times she was directly under my stand. The instructional CD that came with the call is easy to understand and will help any hunter improve their techniques. Get one and improve your hunting.

Got it and watched part of the DVD which would not play in my DVD player but worked on my computer. Guess I should knock it one star for that but I was able to watch it and I am not sure if it was meant for a DVD player. What I do like about it is the simplicity. I have another call that allows you to change the pitch and it is smaller which is nice but sometimes it will not give you what you are after when you push down in the spot it indicates. Also you have to alter the tone with the way you blow since both hands are often occupied working it. I do like the tone of this one better. used it hunting with no deer seeming to respond but this year the deer have been scarce. Trying a spot that was really good last year so maybe I might get to see if deer respond. I did have three deer come charging in to a call last year with the other call so I think that given the same situation this one would have worked as well. It is not magic but I have come to believe that you can get a deer coming your way with the call. I do need to view the rest of the DVD but for the basic calls that I already know about this one creates a really nice tone and so far has been very consistent and very life like. That being said I have heard different animals produce calls that do not sound at all like something like you would ever do with a call so a call that does not sound so pure might not mean your hunt is ruined. But for the price I think it is a great sounding call you get a strap to carry it around your neck and a DVD instruction disk. For this price I think it is a great value for any call.

I think the best part of this call is the adjustable reed system. The tone can be varied to imitate a variety of different size bucks (or doe/fawn) with just a slide of the finger. I guess the best tribute to this is the 8 pointer I got yesterday, and it was the first time I used this call. I set the tone to the lighter side of the buck range thinking it might provoke a larger buck. I called 2-3 times and put the call away, 5-10 minutes later an 8 pointer came crashing through the thick brush and headed right for me. This may have just been dumb luck but it really seemed like the deer was pissed about another buck looking for does on his turf.

This is the first deer call I've ever used. It's so easy to use. And i know it works. I'm currently sitting here, waiting to track my first buck. :D he came through below me and I saw the rack, rut is in full swing so I hit the doe bleat and he stopped but it didn't phase him, so without even having to do much I slid the bar down to buck and hit a contact grunt and it stopped him in his tracks and he grunted back. I hit it a second time and it brought him right back in my direction...waited till he gave me a broadside shot and let my arrow fly. I love this call and recommend it to anyone, even someone who's never used a call before. The video teaches you all to need to know, then just apply when out hunting.

By far the best Deer call I've every owned. The fact that I can slide the adjustment for Buck Doe or fawn and change the tones with a simple slide eliminates the need to have multiple calls. I've had it out in the field below freezing and had the reed freeze, slide the adjuster back and forth a few time and viola back in operation no need to pull it apart and fuss around with it. I think this is a simply amazing deer call and would buy it again in a flash!

Imagine a 12 point 200 pound buck chasing a massive doe right through your hunting area. That's exactly what happened during rut this year, and I quickly grabbed this call and switched it to the mature buck. The female and male instantly stopped, and turned twards me. This call is the real deal! I've used it with mature and young bucks to keep them in the firing line. The call doesn't even alarm them when they do finally walk off they don't run they slowly walk away not even blowing! The does also respond to the fawn and doe calls as well. This is the only deer call I will need for years to come.

I have to add, it was freezing temperatures and the call did not freeze at all. I know I have been let down by so many other calls in the past because they aren't reliable during freezing conditions and sketchy.
