Not durable at all - Large tear after a couple wears.

Loved these boots for the first 5 times I wore them. Just grazed them past my shopping cart yesterday and now I have a huge tear on the side of my boots. VERY disappointed as these were supposed to be durable rain boots! Also cannot find a contact to inform the CHOOKA company about my disappointment in their product! At this point would not purchase them again :(

No Go for High Instep and Wide Feet.

I wear a size 7 1/2 medium/wide in a tennis shoe (Avia). From the reviews given I bought the size 7 boot because most people thought they ran big, they do (the fit was great in the length) but they also run narrow. They were very tight on my instep and felt narrow through the toes. I put them on without socks and had a hard time getting them off. I recommend that if you have a high instep or wide feet you order your regular size (I normally take a size 8 boot) or choose a different boot.

I thought spending more for boots would be worth it

I loved these when I first got them... I did have to buy inserts for them but the height was perfect. I wore them about a month then they were put away... I recently pulled them out to wear them. I used them on a trip and they were my only shoes... I have never had rain boots do this... The rubber ripped at the sole and the sole started to totally fall off! The entire heel was open to the snow and water!!! I mean entire from the middle of the arch to the middle of the outside of my foot!! $20 rain boots have worn better!!

Great boot for wide calves!

Sizing:
-I have a 16" calf circumference and these boots fit great for that! I am short too at 5'0" so it is perfect!
-I normally wear a size 6.5 and decided to get a size 6 based on some reviews I have read. Getting a 6 was perfect - it's snug and still has slight room for very thick socks.

Yes, it is smelly, but it's rubber made for rain boots. Air it out and once you wear it the snow and rain and outdoor freshness will blend it with the shoes. This wasn't a big factor for me.

I'm only giving it a 4/5 for now as I haven't worn it for very long and only in light rain/snow. I will update it to a 5 if it exceeds my expectation of wear and wearing it for long periods of time!

Get 1 size smaller, feel fine for long dog walks

I read many reviews for this product that had some serious cons. Most of which referred to the durability. I decided that I needed a decent "wide calf" rain boot, so it was worth the try. First, definitely go down a whole size. I wear a women's 7, and the women's 6 fits me perfectly. I even had to wear an ankle brace and the shoe could accommodate. I wore these for an entire night out with at least 1.5+ hours of standing, no issues. Wore them the next day for a 2 mile walk after a decent rain, no issues. Wore them in the garden today, with no issues again. Only a weekend of use, however I suspect this is more wear than most people would use these for. I got them with talking my dog for walks in mind, i needed something that could fit my big calves and not rub. These were great!. They were also great for yard work as they're easy to clean. As it appears I can't buy regular rain boots anymore, I am glad I happened across these. I just hope they last for awhile.

Actually run large and very roomy

After read all the review before I purchased, I was kind worried will be narrow. But I decided give a try. I wear size 7, and wide. So I order size 7, turn out its a little too big, and not narrow at all. I can move my toe around in this boots. Put a shoe pad still a little too big, wish order 6 instead.

I ordered these boots at Christmas time, and loved them. They were great in both the rain and snow. However, in about March after only wearing them maybe 20 times tops, they began to develop cracks along the toe box area. Both boots have developed cracks, the largest one is two inches. I am currently working with customer service to try to get a refund. This is so disappointing as the boots were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. Overall, I was so happy with them in the beginning, but extremely let down at the poor quality :(

Great rain boots

Great rain boots. Fit my wider calves. My only complaint is that the inner sole started rolling up in the back after just one wear. Superglued it down as I could not return it at that point and that solved the issue.
