My dog loved this harness but unfortunately it has the same problem as the previous version of this harness- it rips on both sides right where the leather meets the mesh material (right under the 'G' logo on both sides, see picture uploaded). If they could figure out how to keep the material in tact, then this would be a perfect harness. Until then, I can't justify buying a new one only to have it rip again.

This harness is nicely made but the straps and buckles look rather heavy on a 15 lb dog. Also, the leash attach point, being at the rear, is positioned for a dog that is always pulling. If the leash is pulled to bring a dog forward, then the entire harness bunches around the dog's neck. Goody's prior model where the attach point was in the center-top of the harness generally worked much better.

This harness is perfect for my 7.5 lb. chihuahua. She has worn more than 7 other types and this one beats them all by a long shot! No more coughing or choking noises! The size medium fits perfectly when adjusted all the way up tight (doing this doubles the softness around her chest). I prefer the D ring in the back for safety reasons. When I need to pull her up quickly into my arms (from an aggressive dog or an occasional coyote) she does not slip out at the neck or hang upside down but rather she hangs from the harness around their chest behind the top of their arms rather than her neck. Please try this for yourself. I know if this action was painful she would scream her head off; she doesn't make a peep. I am now ordering one in purple. I always read reviews before I make a purchase.....finally I am writing one.

Love this harness! Fits my 8 lb Chihuahua great. She has a 10" neck/ 15" girth. Size SMALL is comfortable on her with a little extra room even around the neck. Very soft straps too. Thanks, I'm pretty sure my dog loves it!

Does not choke our Yorkie and is secure. Fairly easy to slip on. You put the dog's head through the collar and left paw into the harness before bringing the belly strap around to snap behind the right front leg. Adjusts on both sides. The leash attaches to the back of the harness so no pressure is applied to the dog's throat. Very nice design.

I have 2 dogs, a 15 lb pug-a-poo and a 20 lb schnauzer mix. I ordered the medium for the smaller dog and a large for the other one. They fit as if they were custom made for these dogs, and they look so comfortable on them. I have tried other harnesses, mainly Lupine, and they always looked so sloppy. If they fit around their chest, they were way too big around the neck, so they never fit snug like they should. I have only had these harnesses a few days, so I don't know how well they will hold up, but I'm hoping they will not tear or stretch, as some reviewers have said, because I really love them and I can tell my dogs do too. This could very well be the only harness I ever buy from this point on.

I tried a couple of different collars before I got this one...all the other my puppies could not tolerate on. When I got these I was skeptical be cause the front part was loose around the neck as it had to fit over there head...but they work great! The puppies can't get out of them and they don't mind wearing them.
