As a proud pet parent of a six-pound Yorkie, I try to provide her with the healthiest possible food and treats - preferably products that are made in the United States, given the recent issues with pet food and toys made in China and other countries.

The little one LOVES these Z-Bones (Apple Crisp is her favorite, though she also enjoys the Cherry flavor) and they're the perfect size for her to chew on. They usually provide her with 20 minutes of quality chew time, and are GREAT for improving her breath. They're easy for her to digest, as well.

One word of caution, which applies with ANY dog treats or bones: supervise your pet! When they get to the end of these things, that little piece is just big enough to get lodged in their throat if you're not watching them!

Overall: a great, healthy product made in the U.S.! Your dog won't be disappointed!

That was before they sold out to Nestle Purina. We all know what happens to companies who sell out to mega corps - the quality suffers, they start out saying everything will remain in house under watchful eyes - that never happens. Already Nestle Purina has brought in their own management team. The ingredients will probably start becoming imported from china! The very reason Zukes came in to existence was has a quality option for pet parents who don't want to buy into the mega corp crap. Zukes will NEVER be welcome into my house again. Ever. Nestle Purina - makers of Waggin Train and Canyon Creek Ranch - that crap killed hundreds of dogs starting in 2010 when Nestle Purina bought that company. NEVER. Again.

My dogs love very smelly treats but it is tiresome to smell fish all the time and we need something to help clean their teeth. My habit is to buy a couple of these with each bag of dog food, although the suggested amount is daily. There is no way I could afford that! These treats are outrageously expensive. That being said the dogs love them and go nuts. The cherry and carrot ones are also very good but I decided to give the green apple a try. For all three, I have yet to have a problem with them staining clothing or furniture. Additionally, I have a golden retriever, who is known for her softer mouth (has to suck on treats before she can chew them) has a good time with these.

Overall, the dogs really enjoy them, they smell nice, have not stained anything, and do give them fresh breath. They are just too expensive to give everyday.

My 3 pound Yorkie loves this mini bone. I bought the cheery flavor and she spends about an hour biting at it. A great treat that is healthy for your dog. My Yorkshire Terror is picky so it is nice to find something good for her that she likes. HINT: I pour warm water over the dry bone to bring out the flavor and soften it. That is the only way she would eat it. Like I said she is picky.

I no longer give my dog any products made in China. It is very difficult to find a hard dental chew that is made in America. These are not cheap, but they are well worth the cost. They are of excellent quality & my dog loves all 3 flavors.

My yorkie-poo has been getting these bones for about a year now. They are literally the ONLY thing we've found that completely neutralized his breath when it gets stinky. I don't like to give him these more than a couple of times a week, even though he could have one a day - partly because they are not cheap, but also because he does seem to get an upset stomach if he has these daily. My dog absolutely loves these bones and we have to double bag them so he can't catch any scent of them or he pesters us! Every flavor we've tried has been a hit. We call them our "stinky breath bones" and have found them to be well worth the expense.

I purchased these for my dog since he has so many food allergies. They were perfect where ingredients were concerned, unfortunately they lasted about a minute and he was quickly asking for more. My dog is a lab/golden retriever mix and he is a very heavy chewer, so nothing really satisfies his chewing. I was just trying to find something to occupy him so we can try to break the habit of him chewing on himself.
