This is the worst review I have ever left on Amazon. I normally am pretty happy with what I receive. However, these rugs are truly bad. I very strongly recommend not buying them.

I will start with a basic listing of the problems for those who would rather not read a long review. After the list is a full description of what I experienced with these mats.

1. Large chunks of fibers left in the washing machine.
2. Dryer kept shutting off because the wet mats are so heavy.
3. Huge amount of lint filled the dryer's lint trap.
4. More large chunks of fibers throughout the dryer and on the mats.
5. Lint and fiber chunks went all over the floor and my clothing.
6. Shaking the mats appeared to simply create more fuzz with each shake.
7. Mats have sour, mildew smell that persists after washing and drying.
8. Quality of the fibers dull, scratchy, similar to that of an old cotton mop.

When I received the mats, the first thing I did was put them in the washer. I've washed bathroom mats hundreds of times over the years so I never expected anything close to what happened when I washed these mats.

First thing I noticed is that they left a huge mess of fibers in the washing machine. I wasn't happy, but I brushed it off and went about drying the mats.

Drying the mats was a problem. For some reason, my dryer kept shutting off. I have only seen this happen only one other time when I was drying a very heavy thermal faux fur blanket. It seems to happen when the item is too heavy so the dryer shuts off as a safety measure. However, this time the dryer shut-off was so bad, it was very difficult to actually dry the mats. The first time I washed these they lost so much 'fuzz' it was unreal. Huge amounts in both the washer and dryer (had to empty my lint trap in the dryer twice during drying). Makes me think the quality of materials is not as it should be for the price. If I were shopping again, I would not get this item based on cost/value.
Follow-up: I've now washed them a 2nd time, the result is exactly the same. At this pace, after a 3rd or 4th washing there won't be any 'rug' material left on them. Literally, I pull what appears to be a small fluffy animal out of my dryer after each wash - and that does NOT include what is in the lint trap. Seriously. These are going to be replaced ASAP.

Worst rugs I have ever owned. Like other reviewers, I am appalled by the shedding and lint these rugs generate. After washing twice, with threads covering my washer and lint clogging my dryer, they are no better. I track brown threads everywhere when I leave the bathroom. Today, I am throwing them out. Fieldcrest Cannon or Ralph Lauren are far superior; buy them at Marshall's and skip these Indian-made products.

I have washed them several times and the amount of lint is still outrageous. They continue to shed and make a mess of my bathroom. The die from the rug actually stained my son's shorts when he laid them on top of them. The color is beautiful but they show every speck of dirt/etc. For how much I paid, I'm not happy!

The shade of blue is brighter than it looked in the picture. The quality is not that great as they are thin but mostly way over priced. I could have bought the same at Walmart cheaper....not high end like I expected.

This is the first negative review I have ever posted for Amazon. I bought 2 sets and will be throwing them out in the trash. They are beautiful to look but fell apart in the washing machine. I had blue lint everywhere. I actually had to let the inside of the washer dry out so I could vacuum the inside. Amazon should not carry this product anymore.

The color is nice and the pattern is as well, but doesn't take but a few steps and you don't see it and looks all matted down. I have washed as directed and the amount fibers that shed in washing and drying well better not wash to often or there will be not cotton fibers left of the rug. It will serve the purpose if only for a very short time as I don't expect these rugs to endure too long.
