I love Fido Fleece. This winter has been particularly harsh with lots of snow and cold weather. The dogs and I still like to go out for a walk though. I have tried many types of sweaters and jackets, but Fido Fleece are my favorite. Here's why:
1.) They stay on. The velcro on here is good quality. These do not come open on their own and fall off.
2.) They cover my dogs' chests and bellies well. This helps keep them warm and also prevents some of the snow ball issues.
3.) They velcro on the back instead of on the chest. Velcro works best when it is kept dry and doesn't have to bend and flex a lot. Putting it on the back keeps it out of the snow and puddles.
4.) They don't inhibit motion. The dogs still run and jump and play like usual. They don't mind the Fido Fleece at all.
5.) Lots of cute colors and patterns! I'm a girl, so that the dogs look cute in these is a bonus for me.

I purchased a size 16 for a Papillion mix who weighs 16 pounds and is rather tall. Her body is more like a small poodle but a little taller. I did measure my dog prior to choosing the size but it was still too large in the chest area for my pup. I had to pay return shipping of $5 and the option of exchanging was not offered so it wasn't worth gambling on the smaller size. I ended up purchasing a fleece from a local store. The Fido is well made and it's main benefit is the back opening which makes it easy to get on a nervous dog. I would try it again in a smaller size.

Despite delay in shipping time, during ice/snow/sleet storms, coat came nicely packaged. My dog looks great in it, it is the 2nd fido fleece I've bought. Be sure to measure carefully, they fit snug and exactly to the size chart. Fido fleece are very well made with high quality fleece and protects the tummy. Quite stylish with the ribbon accent. I love it!
