I've watched this show from the very beginning and unlike some shows that sort of fade out and become boring over time this show keeps evolving from the characters, to the characters' relationships. It makes you feel things right along with the characters and their storylines whether it's hurt, anger, betrayal, and the happiness. It's one of the best made shows on television.

Change up time! Relationships changing or growing closer, life altered due to illness, even death comes to cause guilt and healing. And all of it within the hospital milieu, plenty of challenging patients and their stories bring contrast and loss and successes. Always interesting, worth turning on and tuning in!

I've been seeing this show since season 1 and every season just get better and better. I do hate that some of my favorite characters have been killed of the show but that's on every show. Overall genius show.

This episode was centered around Cristina and we got to see more facets of her personality as she accepts her loss of the prestigious Avery Harper award due to politics and her acceptance of this loss which included losing some much sought after grants for her future endevours. Cristina decides to accept the offer to give a five day talk in Zurich where she comes full circle running into a former love of her life that transformed her. This episode lays the groundwork for the new season and hopefully brings back some of what made previous seasons great. Some hints of the upcoming season garnered from this episode- SPOILER ALERT- for anyone living under a rock- Cristina is leaving Greys to move to Zurich and live her version of happily ever after.
Alex, seems very happy and comfortbale in his own skin for the first time but maybe the writing in on the wall that his character will play a smaller role in the show since he is now in private practice and seems to be a cameo character.
Dr. Bailey has crossed the line and although her experiment seems to be working it doesn't take a doctor to predict next season may be a hard one for her if she is caught.
April and Jackson are expecting their own little "blueberry" and working on the major difference that threatens to seperate them-but it appears they will get their happily ever after although there is some hint that their conflicts with Jackson's mother, the Avery family expecations for their children that conflict with April's own hopes for her children and religion will be the bumps on the road next season.
And it looks like the replacement for Dr. Yang will be Dr. Amy Shepherd- Derricks sister the one who was a drug addict and had the baby with no brain in the sister show of Grey's.

Grey's anatomy is certainly a big hitter in the world of medical dramas, arriving at its 10th season here. That said, little has been updated about this series since day 1. In season 10 we get the same impassioned speeches, the same character drama, etc.

The one thing that has seems to have changed is that Grey's has moved further and further away from the actual medicine. These days almost every episode is about the drama of the main characters themselves and their personal lives. While that has always been a theme, it always took place within the greater backdrop of the hospital. By the time we hit Season 10, the setting of the show almost doesn't matter. These could be workers at a Starbucks and the basics of the show would be the same.

The problem here is that so much drama has happened to these characters at this point that it is hard to feel any connection to them anymore. There's hardly a doctor among them who hasn't been stabbed, shot, died, brought back to life, married, divorced, remarried, re-divorced, sued, pregnant, leaving, returning, etc. There's only so much that can happen to one character before you just become disconnected from the whole thing.

If you're a fan of the series, season 10 is probably worth watching. If you're iffy on the whole theme to begin with, it might be time to just say enough is enough and find something fresh.

Just another unrealistic medical show. But Shondra Rimes lays a good story and it's entertaining, so I got hooked and have followed each season. I've been a nurse (with a masters degree) so I feel qualified to say this is all complete nonsense (is there a reason why there's no technical advisor?). It's no substitute for E.R., which was so much more realistic (although also pretty embelished). I miss E.R.

I have been glued to Grey's Anatomy for a while. I had some serious catch up to do. Now I'm watching season 10 thanks to Amazon. And I continue to be riveted. I love the cast of characters, the ever unfolding surprises. Some events are exaggerated, but hec, this is fantasy. But I have learned a good deal of medical lingo.

I am writing this after viewing the first three episodes and I am not impressed.
I just watched most of the series seasons in the last couple of weeks via the Amazon Prime Video membership (What a deal! Fast and efficient shipping of a large portion of products, well-cared for returns if needed and all of these Prime videos to watch?!). I was impressed by the production, acting and direction of GA's first nine seasons, but this season is very weak and forced in its acting, storyline and directing. It seems as though some very junior folks have taken over the series. Disappointing.
