Make no mistake. This is a *big* shoe horn. I didn't really pay attention to the size when I bought it, I just looked at the picture. This is not one of those wimpy shoe horns. This is a massive shoe horn.

When someone pulls out a shoe horn, Crocodile Dundee pulls out this bad boy and says "that's not a shoe horn, *this* is a shoe horn!"

Wow! These are a very nice size, yes they are 7.5", and don't read the foolish review by the man who didn't like them. Read his review thoroughly, and it seems as if he is not happy with anything in his life.

These shoe horns are shiny, smooth (won't catch on your socks), and work splendidly. My husband is a firefighter and used his new shoe horn to put on his boots in a hurry on Thanksgiving night. What a lifesaver. He is crazy about this shoe horn. I bought four: One for the car, when we travel and take our shoes off to relax; one for our suitcase, for using at resorts and hotels; one for hubby's use at the firehouse, and the other for our mud room.

Ecstatic with this purchase. It was well worth the bargain price we paid. HIGHLY recommend this shoe horn. Get more than one.

Solid construction...will not break or bend. Wide size makes it easy to use on any type footwear. Compared to all other offered shoe horns, they are the least expensive and 100 times better than any plastic offerings. Shoe horn angle makes it really easy to slip you foot into the shoe. Now, if you would manufacture one with an 18" extension handle you could take over the world of shoehorns.

If the handle were a little bit longer - great. The quality is there both in design and strength, but the length isn't.
Tip: If you have a bad back and can't bend very well, tie a lanyard to it. Insert the horn in the back of your shoe, insert foot into shoe and pull on the lanyard while pushing foot down= walla, shoe is now on.
Would I buy Dragonn shoe horns again - absolutely.

Big as anyone's heel and stronger than steel. I bought a plastic shoe horn off the shelf locally and it lasted two weeks before breaking in half. I ordered two of these figuring they would eventually bend in half. No way! Ain't gonna happen. Really thick and strong professional quality in a cheap shoe horn. Big enough to get a real grip on it too. I'll eventually give the extra one away.

I expect to have this shoehorn for a LONG time. It will be in my Will. In 40 years, someone is going to be VERY happy! For now, I'm happy and that's what counts. One side note - if you have small lady feet and shoes, this may actually be too big for your use. I wear a men's 11 and it's perfect.
