I'm filling out my bar because I have nothing better to do. I say this, so you realize I believe the world will still spin tomorrow. ANYways, I have a good start on the bar - I've got about 18 bottles of stuff. I've looked up a few cocktails I like and learned how to make them. But each time I did, I made a huge mess trying to pour open bottles into the jigger. I figured that using a measuring pourer at 1/2 ounce, I wouldn't need the jigger for much at all. The huge mess will be gone....in my happy, naive mind. I found these .5 ounce pourers - THEY EXIST! I ordered them along with another item. When they arrived these things were in a plastic bag that had a sticker that said Set of 6. Ok..passed inventory control? Whatever. I got them out, put them in a bowl of warm water and swirled them about. Then I laid them out to dry overnight. Next evening, I'm very excited as I put the pourers into 5 different bottles. YES! FINALLY a Long Island Iced Tea that won't take 15 minutes to pour and won't leave my place a mess. I was horrified! I read the reviews that said you had to turn it verticle. It "tribbled" out. I tried all the bottles and then swapped the last one out. Same effect. Ok, bowl of soapy water and an overnight soak. (VERY messy Long Island). Rinsed in the morning and laid out to dry for the day. Came back way more cautiously. Capped a couple bottles and same result. Ok. No problem, went to refund...they want them sent back. Sooooo, if you get them and they work for you, congratulations. If they work like they did for me, do I give six dollars in shipping to return seventeen? The answer is no. Just please be wary about what you buy and from whom you buy.

Bought these for a party but wasn't able to use. These are meant for standard 750ml bottles which was not clearly stated in the description. They won't work if your bottles are extra large (i.e. 1.75L).

Would have gotten 5 stars, but some of pourers stopped working after the first time i used them. The ball gets stuck sometimes and eliminates the pourer (you end up over pouring).
