Flavor Name: Zucchini and Spinach with Pasta Marinara, ItalySize: Pack of 6
Like in many "Plum organic" products, the first ingredient is actually not listed on the face of the pouch. For example in "zucchini and spinach and pasta marinara" the main ingredient is actually mashed potatoes, something you would not have guessed without reading the fine print. In "zucchini, banana and amaranth" the main ingredient is apple puree. If we wanted an apple puree we would have bought an apple! We think it is deceptive and annoying.

I have an adventurous little 7 month old who loves almost every food we've given her. I was excited to see these world dish-inspired pouches so I snagged several countries- Mexico included. After about 3 bites, she clammed up and refused to open her mouth. When my husband tasted it and suggested that I do the same, we discovered that it was bland. I could taste the hint of cilantro, but was really expecting something with more flavor- with the lime, cilantro, bell pepper, and corn flavors. Instead it tasted like mashed beans and little else. As another reviewer mentioned, it was also oddly separated and required a lot of of stirring to become one consistency. We won't be buying this flavor again.

This is one of the few purely veggie (i.e. not sweet) foods that my 6mo. old loves. He started solids at 4 months and first had this at 5 months. After a cold all baby would eat was applesauce or other fruits...until I tried this.
As I don't want to create a sweet palate if I can avoid it I was very happy with this. It has more flavor than other typical veggie combinations and is a little thicker than some as well.

We usually get this a lot; however, this batch received wasn't good. We reached out to Plum to let them know in case it was recalled and without question they sent us coupons to replace what we had purchased. Customer service is fantastic and they live up to their word. I would have given 5 starts but again the product was defective and required me doing a little follow up with customer service (hours are PST). I figured out I could email after a few days of missing them via time difference. Poor planning on my part.

This was one of the first Plum Organics World Baby flavors our nine month old tried and it's probably still her favorite! Super simple ingredients in this puree (pumpkin, water, coconut cream, mango, brown rice, ginger) and baby loves it! I generally make my own baby food at home and not a huge fan of disposable pouches, but these are really handy for when we're out! (No need for refrigeration unless it's opened!) If you purchase this as a subscription (for just a month to try it out) and are part of Amazon Parent, the price is actually reasonable!

After reading different reviews for this, I'm wondering if Plum Organics has a bit of a QA problem? These are suppose to be smooth purees (I haven't experience otherwise yet) so not sure why some people have gotten chunks or odd thick consistencies?

This is my baby's favorite plum organics flavor - creamy, not too sweet. It is perfect for us because my toddler is allergic to milk, and he can rarely have anything creamy except when it's flavored by coconut milk. Also, it's low in sugar. My husband is fanatical about training our toddler to not like super sugary foods - even he approves of this packet.

My daughter is two and still like this food.I tasted it and it's actually not bad.I do like the fact it's organic. It's good to take on trips in the car. It's pretty thick so it's not as messy as other flavors we buy which can be really thin and runny.She is pretty picky about what she eats so I will continue to buy this as long as she likes it.

Lentils, squash & apricots - surprisingly yummy! I purchase these for myself to carry in a day pack when hiking. With allergies to peanuts, walnuts, raisins, soy, dairy, chocolate, onion and garlic, healthy snacks can be challenging when the majority of energy bars, jerkies and trail mixes are not an option. These packs are light weight, have excellent ingredients and I get to avoid the chemicals and sugars in so many of the "healthy" snacks foods.
