I had ordered the three bags flavor combo of these cookies and received the three boxes instead. Since I had already run out of my stock, I decided to give the boxes a shot. That was a bad decision. The cookies were stale and hard and taste like cardboard. This is a colossal waste of money for cookies that are painful to eat. I have to soak it in milk to be able to swallow it, and even so its an unenjoyable medicine.
The cookies I bought from Babies R Us were soft and I had high hopes for this batch. Unfortunately, the stale, hard cookies are turning me off milkmakers. I will try to find another brand for similar purposes.

UPDATE: 10/14/2014 - After emailing milkmakers and trying to exchange the cookies, they did ship me a new batch of cookies which were slightly better. Still not soft and fresh, but they were not stale smelling. I am happy with their customer service, even if the cookies in the boxes could be fresher....no complaints with the service.

Update 1/5/2015 - I have purchased these twice more since the last update - thats 60 cookies. The first batch, I wasnt too happy with. It required serious determination to eat them, and thats not how you should eat cookies! However, the latest batch is great - nice and soft and yummy. And the reason I ate even the batch that wasnt great was because I believe these really do work. When I eat these cookies, I have supply enough to feed my son and to pump for storage!

Although I was skeptical when I purchased these lactation cookies, I ended up being absolutely impressed with how delicious they tasted! I was certain that anything to help my milk flow wouldn't taste good, but I was wrong. Additionally, they helped me to get my milk established for my preemie.

My wish is to breastfeed for my baby's first year. I work full time so I have to pump at work and nurse whenever I'm home. My super hectic & stressful schedule often challenges my supply only to further stress me out if I'm low. Having these cookies have been amazing. I notice the difference the following day whenever I eat the cookies. And an added bonus is that they're so yummy! I never feel guilty about giving myself a treat (trying to shed that baby weight) because I tell myself this yummy cookie is to give my baby precious milk. And presto! Overall I'm very happy with this product & would recommend.

I ordered these a couple weeks ago and tried them this week. Within about 4 days I saw an increase in my supply. I'm on day 7 now and it seems to be increasing still! The cookies taste great and are a fun and yummy way to increase milk supply while enjoying desert!

This was the third order I received and these cookies were horrible. They were hard and dry. I hated eating them but had to because they do help with BM supply. I email the company but no one got back to me. Im not sure if I want to order more of this company's cookies.

I was very worried about my milk flow which was going low. i was adamant to order these cookies as i felt that they are costly. but when i thought how badly i wanted to feed my son(he rejects formula as he is ebf), i felt that this price is really worth if i get my milk flow back.
i have ordered this and received it on time. i havent seen any milk increase on my first day.
but my milk supply started increasing from the second day.
And the cookies really taste good :)

I can't say enough about how much I love these cookies! I eat one every morning. My milk supply is amazing; I have been able to work three 10 hours days a week, and still exclusively breast feed for 6 months! I am thrilled with the results, and I will continue this daily regimen for as long as I am nursing, as well as gift all of my new mommy friends with samples!

I ate two of these a day which I probably would have eaten more if I had an unlimited supply of them. I developed mastitis shortly after my 2nd baby was born and it all by dried up my milk supply. With the help of these cookies, drinking lots of water and pumping every couple of hours my breast milk supply has been increasing a little bit each day. My older son likes these cookies as well. Most of the time when I'd have my cookie he'd have to have a few bites as well. With all the yummy ingredients in these cookies I was happy to share them with my family.
