Installed the trial software in a windows 7 system with an LG Bluray player, 8Gb of memory, dual core Intel i3 3.4 Ghz cpu and 1 Tb HDD. At first it worked, eventhough every 10-15 minutes it would pause for fractions of a second. I bought the license, and ordered a CD disc with the software from Aisee.

After registering the product, it failed to play any further bluray discs. Thinking my discs were defective I tried using other bluray players and guess what--they worked. Therefore I knew the problem was with the Aisee software player. Still trying to give the software the benefit of the doubt, I created a brand new windows 7 install after formatting a different HDD. Still no success, and oh, the disc Aisee sent me fails to be read by any of my computers. I have since migrated to a different bluray player. Buyer beware. Don't even think of buying this crap. My conclusion is that they still have not perfected their anti-pirating coding.

I bought the software a couple months ago. Last three actual blurays dont work - Error: "failed to load file". Disc works fine in PS3.
Tried to update the software but it will only tell me that i have the latest version.

Looks like newer blurays are not supported anymore. This sucks.

update: 14.09.2014
other actual discs work. by now it looks like discs from "universum film" have the error.
The following discs are distributed in Germany by "universum film"

"Lockout", "Riddick - Rule the dark" , ....

Support contacted a fortnight ago - still no update how to solve this issue.

update 7.11.2014:
August in Osage County - same error - again Universum.

Do NOT buy this!! This does not play discs well and it also does not offer the viewing of the disc menu so you can select special features....If you want to find the special features you must load and dismiss many, MANY video files that are only numbered....not named.

It creates a very inadequate menu that will easily only play the movie.

If the actors are speaking an alien language (as in Thor: Dark World) it defaults to removing the captions that everyone would need....because nobody really speaks a made-up language. If you try to get it back it gives you captions NOT for the alien language alone but for everything.

The window often lays OVER the mouse cursor....talk about making things difficult to do when you can't see the cursor!

This program should have never been released. This company is stealing your money because this product does not do what it says. It is not a Blu-ray disc player. It will play the movie off of a Blu-ray disc...but that's all...the rest of the disc is not enjoyable to try and get to because this player fails.

Amazon should stop selling this player because it is poor quality, doesn't work properly, and also does not make the entire disc accessible...

It is a total lie and theft of money.

It is very fast, has a lot of options, but I can never get the audio to work with the video, and there is absolutely no support from Aiseesoft, just a really vague pop up of instructions that don't actually address anything. I tried about 15 different outputs, and the audio always drags behind the video, up to 4-5 seconds.
Without a way to contact a support team, this software is getting 1 star, and that's being generous.

Complete and utter sh*t!

I wish I'd come over these reviews before I purchased this crap from their website. I was stupid enough to not try the trial version first, because it didn't enter my mind that someone could sell garbage like this and call it a blu-ray player.

I didn't even bother to check sound/picture quality. Uninstalled it immediately after discovering that there was no blu-ray menus, just "titles" formatted like this: "1. 00:56:07". If you're trying to play a tv-series blu-ray then it's totally hopeless to navigate.

Stay away.

Terrible software. The only reason to get it is because VLC can't always get the encryption keys to newer videos. It doesn't give titles or screen clips of different video parts. When you go to look at all videos on a bluray, it shows you only the times, sorted by length. That's right. You have no idea which one comes first. I've found that Game of Thrones is always played episode 2, then 1. The design is very basic and quickly done (cheaply programmed). Does it get the job done? Yes. Worth $40? No. Whatever.

Oh, and it needs an internet connection to get the encryption keys, but I don't believe that it saves the key. So if you want to watch a movie on the road, you can't let it download the key and watch it later, since you'll still need an internet connection.

Waste of money I will be buying something else to replace this thing.
Minimal controls and documentation, does not work with Windows remote controls, Windows task bar doesn't go away on full-screen mode half the time, and regularly stuttered and skipped through the movie which made it barely watchable.
Free trial looked okay as all I thought I needed was a player. I was wrong.
