Love having the newest colors from DMC. Always know I have the highest quality in floss when I have DMC. I try to have all colors on hand so when I find a pattern I want to do I can start right away. These 16 new colors will allow me to continue that process in my cross-stitching.

I would have liked to have the DMC numbers listed. I bought this thinking that I may be lucky and get the ones I needed, I did not, but that was a risk I took. the colors are great and the quality is very good also.

It is exactly DMC thread, as expected. If I were to think of a fault I'd say that there is no black and white, which are the two colours that would always run out.

This is a 16 piece set of the newest six stranded embroidery floss colors by DMC. Eight of the colors are muted and eight of them are extremely vibrant. They are quite different from the other existing colors and, for me as a designer, they fill a need quite nicely. As a stitcher, they are simply fun. I like the muted tones for samplers that have a more old-time look to them. I love the vibrant colors for outdoor scenes that I want to just jump off the fabric.

There are a few designs included free in the packet so you can test the colors immediately if you choose to do so. I purchased a number of these to be sure that I have several skeins of each floss on hand at all times. I use DMC floss for most of my designs and really enjoy the feel of it in hand and the consistent way it looks in designs.
